I have been through the closing of MSN Chat......we had internal chat via our various communities and then external chat rooms as well. MSN closed them all and NOTHING we did could change it. The best they could offer was a myspace situation that I have never been involved with. I found it trite and a bit child like. There have been other places to chat via other chat platforms Oasis or Buzzen for example but they were never as successful or easy to deal with initially as the MSN chat groups. I despised the wild format of Yahoo and never really chatted there or created a community. I found it cumbersome to deal with graphics there and the chat was unmoderated and did sink to new lewd lows.  I owned & managed three very large chat groups MSN communities so I know about the loss. Now this....

Time is change......sometimes painful. Loosing MSN groups is just another out of our control situation....this just adds to my overall malaise (see rant below)....

 

Good luck finding us all a new home........I am just tired of fighting right now.

 

The cosmos is out of kilter right now.....it is all interconnected.......

The economy is so out of my/our hands. I pay my bills on time, live very GREEN (from attempting to go off the grid with solar panels to cictern water purification projects in the works) & I live in a  restricted neighborhood with an association that watches every move. I do manage to save money every week but those folks that overextend get free rides for now & some get a  bonus for mismanagment.

 

I eat local and know where my food comes from at about 90% (coffee & tea excluded...herb teas I grow myself). I am off the HFC or corn culture wagon. Thank you ADM & Cargil for screwing with our food chain to the point many believe McMuggetts are real food. Most see it as just lunch.......Most pay more attention to the house they buy rather than the food they shove in their mouth much less what they are really eating or where it came from....again...to most it is just lunch.....

 

The election process has just worn me out. The the grand scheme of things every 4 or eight years we have a bloodless change of power. It is a blessing to not have tanks rolling through the streets as the offices change hands....BUT....the process is draining....Every news agency has their own agenda for reporting partial truths or incomplete truths and sometimes outright lies. The candidates utilize info for their own glorification. To find the wheat in the chaff is a full time job and then are we sure our decisions are made with the best info?.....Not everyone looks that deep ....most do not vote. That makes me sad. It is sadder when we vote for the lesser of two evils....there is still in one's mind's eye that evil one voted for. How wacked is that.I wonder how much money has been spent collectively on the 2008 election process? Wow......what could that money actually do real time?

 

Disabled parents or children/siblings need care and medicine. Troubles with significant others and the fear of loosing one's job..........this can bankrupt an honest decent family emotionally & spiritually.....Where does it end?

 

I am tired......I am close to that emotional & spiritual bankruptsy

 

MSN closing groups.......just another way to become disconnected from people I have known for years & depended on. I post little but read almost daily and know you all.....I will miss this and grieve the loss. I am sad alot lately.

 

Tomorrow is another day that stretches into months and years......always grasping for the brass ring. It will pass.....it always does right!?
