Melon & Tamarillo Jam:
10 lbs pie melon [cut up]; 3lb. yellow tamarillos
3 lemons [if liked- juice and grated rind]
1lb sugar to each lb. of fruit.
Pour boiling water over tamarillos,skin and cut up.
Add the cut up melon .Put all in a pan,bring to boil,
adding about 1/2 the sugar.Boil again,adding rest of sugar.boil till sets when tested
