Apricot Conserve: 1.25 kgs. Apricots; 2 cups Water; 1/2 cup Lemon Juice ;1.5kg Sugar.warmed. Halve apricots,discard kernels.chop coarsely. combine apricots,water,lemon juice in pan. Bring to boil & boil slow,Covered 10 mins. Add warmed sugar,stir till dissolved. Boil rapidly uncovered until setting point is reached. Remove conserve from heat -stand 10 mins. pour in warm jars .seal when cold.label and date |
