There is never a dull moment in this world

how many times have you told your parents or your children '

I love You '.
 in the last few days,.. three simple words but so hard to say..

go on try it ,

see men blush when you give the

"dad or your children in your life a cuddle or a hug."

A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.

Treat your friends as you do your pictures, and place them in their best light.

The truth of friendship is to me every bit as sacred as eternal marriage.

BY my side

Don't walk in front of me,
I may not follow.
Don't walk behind me,
I may not lead.
Walk beside me,
And just be my friend.
~

AN IRISH FRIENDSHIP WISH
May there always be work for your hands to do;
May your purse always hold a coin or two;
May the sun always shine on your windowpane;
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain;
May the hand of a friend always be near you;
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

The serenity prayer :
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change ;
courage to change the things I can ;
and wisdom to know the difference .
A  daily thanks :
Living one day at a time.
Enjoying one moment at a time ;
Accepting hardships  as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as he did , this sinful world
 as it is , not as I would have it;.
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to his Will ;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
forever in the next.
amen
.
 The greatest gift :
Lord ,I am glad for the great gift of living-
Glad for the days of sun and of rain :
Grateful for joy, with an endless thanksgiving,
Grateful for laughter - and grateful for pain.

The world is flat without hills and
 life is flat without human peaks that shoulder the sky....

God give me sympathy and sense,
And help me keep my courage high ,
God give me calm , and confidence,
And - please - a twinkle in my eye.

Springtime:
'Lo, the winter is over and gone ,
the flowers appear on the earth ,
and the singing of birds is come !"

Advice to persons about to marry -DON'T!

The men that women marry ,
And why they marry them ,will always be
A marvel and a mystery to the world.

kissing don't last : cookery do!

The old believe everything  :
The middle-aged suspect everything   :
The young know everything .!

thanks Mahua . what do you think about roses in the garden ?
if you saw mine you would think a family member passed away . well you would be right . the first year and even the first months .. my garden went into a state of rapid decline . debris and dismay! I looked at my roses and said to my kids .. that's what I am like inside .. dying  and withering up .. my partner in life has gone - so what's left for me . You see, we both did the roses ,thorny ones too , and no matter what we didn't complain .. the roses thrived  but when he died a little of the roses did too. now  I look at the roses  and I see dying bushes  probably need new ones as they are too old  and diseased . from neglect and from love .  some are past saving
some are really dying. only a few are worth the time to try and clean up the dead wood and maybe, just maybe renew some life into the poor old bushes again.

Sadness lasts less than a second
in the hourglass of  eternal life.

       Happiness is forever with good friends

to share it with .

Divorce is the best friend
that a rich woman has.

With all of lifes pleasantries
a "thank you "is sometimes the most hardest to find .
