BROCCOLI SALAD Serves ~10 people
Toss:
1 large head broccoli--cut into bite size pieces
1 C red onions, chopped
1/2 C raisins (original recipe = 1C)
1 C pecan pieces
1# bacon, fried crisp & crumbled -or- 1 jar Hormel bacon bits
Dressing:
4 T red wine vinegar
1/2 C sugar
1 1/2 C mayo
Mix all and pour over salad when ready to serve. I usually mix the dressing the day or morning before and let sit in the refrigerator to allow the flavor to work through.
