Happy days in this little life, it's been a while and it's had it's moments, but all is well now, I've just be pronounced fit and well and I'm off back to the world of work on Monday. I still hate tractors, and I had to decide not to get a new motor bike, but life is good, not perfect (is it ever) but today ever single cloud has a huge wide silver band about it. Have a good day all. jollycloudless |

Hi Geoff Nice to see you back. Good luck with returning to work.. take it easy to start with. Remember.. tractors are bigger than you so don't pick any more fights with them. Take care mate Kev_UK - Manager |

Oh! you can trust me on this one, it's taken a long time and I have no intention of messing it all up now. No more bikes, yes it's sad and perhaps I'm a coward, but for a while there things did not look good. So the wise decision (for the first time ever) is to go for four wheels, it's not the same but what the hell it is a lot safer and I'm sure there are hidden compensations. Cheers Kev |

Now just to say this again, "You can trust me on this one" tractor pulling may be a very enjoyable thing, I'm sure there is moments of fun doing it. But being pulled along under a tractor along with your Honda Pan European is not a pass time I find I'm in a position to give the old thumbs up to. It's not clever it's bloody sore, leaves you with a nasty gravel rash tattoo and a limp. OH yes and an expencive motorbike that's worth about seven and six. I still hate tractors all tractors, big or small, red ones and green ones, I just to not care, report me to the Royal society for the prevention of cruelty to tractors if you must but I still hate the things. (Me I'm fine, just hate tractors) |

I'm glad to hear you're doing better. Maybe it isn't tractors you hate, just the underside of the,,,,, especially up close and personal. Don't worry about the limp,, most people find a limp kinda sexy. Glad your safe and sound , and on 4 tires now DeeDee |

Thanks DeeDee xxx. A fine point well made, it may well indeed be just the underside of the jolly old tractor that has managed to give me the wrong impression of what I now see may very well be a very nice friendly, sort of big crunching type of scary thing. It gives me some hope that some one out there thinks a limp is sexy, there is still hope, bring on the dancing girls. Jollycloudless |

Congrats on the getting back to work. I can only imagine how bored you were. Did you have to undergo physio therapy? I's glad to see you have maintained your sense of humor and again, welcome back to the land of the employed. |

I suspect that my physio therapist was trained in back in the 1930s and I also suspect the Gestaop had a hand in teaching her some of her techniques. Well OK that was at first, I am please to say that in the end I leaned that all the hard work and no small amount of discomfort were well worth it. While I can not agree that tractor pulling and drag racing are sports in the strictest meaning of the word, I do think that we are all allowed the have and opinion, I also think we should be allowed to voice that opinion. |
