Welcome to our group. I do hope in time, you will meet friends from all over. Pleawse make yourself at home and familiarize yourself with RollCall and tell us a bit about yourself.

I'd like to say hello and welcome to the group to MeJustDave, but he has left the group of his own accord already.

Hi everyone,
Wow that was quick  MeJustDave - was it something that we said?  Ah well, you will never know just how fantastic we all are!

The rain is constant here in UK and we are all heartily fed up with it.  This is indeed the land that Summer forgot although I understand that there was some in April but as I was away at the time I missed it.

It's been one of those weeks for me.  Almost everything that I believed was well and truly sorted became "unsorted" including my computer that went down. I was on the telephone to Dell for two whole days and even now I am still having problems.  I feel like putting the darn thing in the bin - but I only got it in February and goodness knows with this weeks many expenses I cannot afford to.
I will not bore you with the details of my dreadful week but I am hopeful that the worse is behind me and the road ahead will be straight and smooth from now on, fingers crossed!
I am going to take a little time with a nice glass of wine and catch up with you all  real soon but it will not be today, too much left to sort out.

Hope you have a wonderful week-end and that next week is kind to you

Victoria

Hi Alberto,
Nice of you to ask but I have no real problem just the usual general little annoyances in life that keeps cropping up.  you know when you are trying to do something and other things keep getting in the way preventing you from getting where you want to go or just generally slowing you down!  Then this is life, we have to put up with it!

Hi everyone,
Jane when you visit UK hopefully you will come to London, it would be great to meet up with you and you other half of course.  I am not planning a trip until about December when me and my sister hope to take a little saunter down the Nile.  I've always had a feeling for this.  You know it is the Cleopatra syndrome.  All of us dusky maidens fancy ourselves as an incarnation of the Egyptian queen, you have to laugh don't you.  Anyway, I am looking forward to life in London when everyone is on holiday.  I love this time of the year when the streets are almost empty in the morning and evening rush hour and you can get tickets for almost anything you want to see.
Hope you all have a wonderful week.  The weather here in UK appears to be drying up a bit and according to the forecast it should be fairly dry all week!!!!  This will give the poor flooded folks time to try and clean up the mess and evaluate the damage.  When you think of it little little  "niggles"  like I have are small potatoes and nothing to worry about them not when we consider the big picture.  It must be so awful for the folks who have lost everything in the floods and I am not just talking about furniture and fittings but precious mementos that can never be replaced, we all know the like. But what the Heck, life goes on!

Take care everyone

Victoria
