I'm not sure if anyone is even reading the boards in here any more but if you are..........

Please keep Chuck in your prayers

I had to phone 911 last night.   When he woke up from an afternoon nap around 6:00 pm. he said his heart was racing,  had a hard time breathing and his whole body was shaking but worse on one side than the other.  I guess I should have got him down to emergency before this but he kept saying he was ok.  MEN!!!!!!!!!!  I should have known more was wrong,  should have seen some signs, and those signs were listed as side effects on one of the puffers the doctor gave him a prescription for on Monday,   last night the ambulance attendents didn't stay here too long,  they just monitored him for a few minutes and put him on oxygen and got him in the ambulance real quick.   I called the hospital this morning and they have admitted him.  He is in isolation,  the nurse told me their not sure yet what all is wrong but he did have a heart attack,  their not sure when yet until the blood work comes back and he does have pneumonia.   But she did stress he was very sick.
I will keep you posted when I find out more
Hugsssssss
Elva

I went down to see Chuck yesterday afternoon and once again he is bouncing back.  They said he had viral pneumonia and he had had a heart attack for sure.  He looked much better than he did when they took him down by ambulance.   So he is going to be ok.   He should be coming home the first of the week sometime.   I hope anyway,  but I told the nurse I wanted him all better before they let him out  lol.  Don't want to go through that again.

After making a few phone calls yesterday, trying to find out what was going on with Chuck,  the doctors office finally phoned me back last night around 7.   She said the doctor said that he should be coming home in the next 2 or 3 days as long as he is walking good on his own.
I phoned the hospital this morning again and they said he is up and walking around and that the doctor put a note on his chart that he should be coming home tomorrow morning after he sees him.  But the nurse I talked to this morning said he seems to be doing good.  But I imagine he is bored stiff  lol.  He can't have a tv or phone in the room he is in.
So we shall see
Thanks for the prayers everyone

Chuck came home this morning.  But he said his cardiovascular specialist says he did not have a heart attack after she spend almost an hour going over everything,  but he was close to having a heart attack and a stroke because of so little oxygen in his body.  But now they got that built up again but he has to go for blood work every week now.   LOL  the doctor isn't taking any chances now,  he said he didn't think he was so sick.  Maybe now he will listen to us.

I would like to thank everyone for the prayers,  and Chuck says thank you too,  he really appreciates them.
