Hi~My name is Cathy C. and I am an assistant manager at White Dove's although I have not learned PSP. When I first met Barbara, her group was not very big, and I am very involved in 12 Step Recovery groups. I began sending a lot of recovering alcoholics and addicts to her site, to get welcomes to groups or congratulations for recovery anniversaries...and she was SO very open to them all....and learned how to do siggies specifically for many of us. Now, she has taught many of them how to PSP herself. But we are more than that, we are also like family there. We pray for each other in times of sorrow, illness or death....we support each other in many ways. She has shown great compassion and given a lot of support to us even though she herself knew nothing about such groups. It is VERY much appreciated now and a lot of us in recovery take a break to go there for fun, and learning. She has been so great to so many of the members of my many groups, and I would very much like to nominate her for this award, if I may. Thank you....Cathy C. |
