Rev.8:1  And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

Rev.17:12  And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet;
but receive power as kings one hour with the beast

How long is this really.
I don't think this is 30 minutes or sixty minutes.
The same time for the Ten Kings to have power for one hour it would be half for half hour for the silence.

What is your theory ?

In the OT, the word "hour" (shaah) means  brief time, moment.
A moment of time, the twinkling of an eye, a split second.

In the NT, Greek, (hora) means a certain definite time or season fixed by natural law and returning with the revolving year
of the seasons of the year, spring, summer, autumn, winter
the daytime (bounded by the rising and setting of the sun), a day
a twelfth part of the day-time, an hour, (the twelve hours of the day are reckoned from the rising to the setting of the sun)
any definite time, point of time, moment

If we take all of those meanings into consideration and remember that there is actually no TIME in the spiritual realm,  we will understand that  an hour or half hour merely represents a split second or half a split second, the twinkling of an eye to God and at the same "time" it can be a lifetime to an earthly carnal minded human being. Such are the mysteries of God. He can make a split second and lifetime become one and the same.

The word of God uses physical things to represent spiritual Truth so that those who are carnally minded cannot see or understand the mysteries of God, even when we  try to explain them to them. God hides His mysteries from carnally minded people and only reveals them to His children.

The beast is given power to rule by the power of the ten kings who are given power for one hour.

So that would be to some
7 years
or
15 years

How on earth do some people get 7 or 15 years out of one hour? I think you must really need a good imagination for that theory.

Well some believe 3 1/2 or 7  (could be wrong on the 7 years)
because of the 1,260 days and 42 months mentioned in Rev.  13, 12, ,11
Some using 7th week of Daniel ?

So the beast rules for one hour.
Been given power for one hour.
Ten kings are given power for one hour.

So you figure out how long  the beast has power then you konw how long the hour is.

So how long do you think ?

I think all carnally minded people are wrong with their maths.
It is very obvious  what the hour is when you are spiritually minded.  I explained it in message #4 but  most carnally minded people obviously will not even see it because they are so blind.
THERE IS NO TIME IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM.
Past Present and Future are all the same to God.
We need to keep that simple Truth in our minds so we don't get deceived by  futuristic doctrines which  do not apply to the past and present because they are false doctrines.
The Word of God is the SAME, Yesterday Today and Forever.

2Pet.3:8  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,
that one day [is] with the Lord as a  thousand   years , and a  thousand   years as one day.

I think the 1/2 is in between the 1 hour.
