Nowhere in scripture are we given any indication that God has ceased speaking to the church. In fact, the contrary is plainly indicated here:

Hebrews 12:22But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,    23To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,    24And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.    25See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

and here:

Acts 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

You tell me how anybody could know what the Holy Ghost said if God doesn't speak in an audible voice in the church age.

You done come too late to tell me that God doesn't speak in an audible voice any more. I've already heard Him!

God speaks in a physically audible voice through His People who are filled with the REAL Holy Ghost.
When His people speak the Word of God, you can hear God speak in a voice which can be heared by anyone who can hear.

Jhn 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure [unto him].

Mat 10:19-20  But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

GOD'S IS NOT THE ONLY VOICE WE CAN HEAR.

THEIR IS ONE'S OWN INNER VOICE, THE VOICE OF SATAN, AND THE VOICES OF ANY DEMONS WHO INHABIT ONE'S SPIRIT.

HOW DOES ONE TELL THE DIFFERENCE?

The word of God is quick, and powerful, able to divide between the spirit and the soul and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

My sheep know my voice.

Try the spirits to see if they are of God.

Any that do not confess that Jesus Christ was come in the flesh are of the antichrist.

No man can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Spirit.

That's right off the top of my head. Quotations may not be exact.
