Rev.20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:

and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God,

and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands;

and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Who are these saints ?

Did they really get their heads cut off ? If not explained.

I'll give some answers some will be true and false:

first resurrection group

the latter rain church

saints during the tribulation period

144,000 virgins - Rev.14

All those who died by being beheaded naturally since the early church

The 144,000 saints in Rev.14

Because the cut their own heads off and put on Jesus

cause they had his name in their forehead

We have to be behaded to have Jesus.

No longer I that liveth but Christ in me.

My life is hid in Christ

he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it .

His name is to be on our forehead.

and if they miss and get you in the wrong spot...eww its a long death but I often pray that as stephen was being stoned I believe he was taken before he ceased to live, as paul was mimistered to so shall others and those martyred will be taken up before their body hits the ground.
