Show a little at how I see it.

 

Candlestick = Rev.1:20  the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Olive trees = Jews and Gentiles

 

The early church Jews only had one witness and it was to there own people = one big church group

 

Then about 4 years later the scripture had to be fulfilled about the Gentiles  being saved

and that witness came in Acts 10 Cornellius house.

That was a witness the HG was given to them also and that they are save thru Jesus.

 

Two different candlesticks as a group but the same in the Lord.

 

So I believe its the Jews and Gentiles Church of Jesus that are to witness him in truth.

 

I do believe this was the early rain church and we are to have the latter rain church here in our days. James 5:7

So its says the two witnesses stand on their feet again.

So there must be the Jews and Gentiles church together in truth in our day before Jesus comes back.(true body of Christ)

 

Bible gazerand Jimmy  --- I looked up the word candlestick/lampstand in the strongs in relation to the scripture in Revelations and found it interesting it can be two people.

Zechariah also refers to the olive trees as being Zerubbabel and Joshua.

I believe Elijha closed up the skies for three years as well.

 

Lifesong --there is much speculation on various applications...I just know we will know when it happens we will see it whether from the heavens or Earth

I thought it would be Elijah as well...I would say enoch but some disagree...

What is the purpose of these two witnesses ?

what special event they are going to do for the church ?

show the power of God, Glorify His name..They will be martyred yes because of their prophecies, to show the defeat of satan.. to encourage believers who are already on earth going through difficult times

What the ministers of God are gone ?

 

Holy Ghost saints are gone ?

there will be saints here...not all of us who say we are christians are going....I believe in that time there will be very few great pastors left...

Where will they be in the United States or Israel or Sodom and Eygpt ?

 

Maybe big time TV preacher ??????

 

Maybe they should borrow the Pope Mobile.

I'd like to see that substantiated somewhere else besides your own mind.

I also think that some of the prophres were seeing satellites

Those Gentiles  did just that.

The early Church has fallen away. 2Thes.2

That 7th beast RCC system finally got the job done killed the two witnesses (Jewish ministers and Gentile minister of Jesus Christ )

These two candlestick were put out during the dark ages. (Jewish church  and Gentile chruch) Rev.1 candlestick represent a church
