My dearest brothers & sisters in Christ~

Sorry I had not been on for the last few days~

First my cycle was 15 days late, then the cramps kicked in, which is rare for me.

I finally took ib meds, it help subside the pain so i could check on ya all~

I managed to help my church with the carpet clean up they had requested and am

due to clean next thurs inspite of the cycle pain~While I was cleaning I had recited

Jer.Chapter 29 verse 11 in the old testament~

I will check on everyone tommorow, Lord willing~

Love sissa~

I LIKE THAT TERRA, SNAGGED IT TOO LOL. SISSA WHEN YOU GO THROUGH MENOPAUSE      OUR HORMONES CAUSE US TO BECOME
AND SOME DAYS WE MAY FEEL LIKE WE ARE  AND THEN ALONG COMES  MEMORY LOSS  AND OF COURSE WE CAN FORGET ABOUT STRESS
BUT SISSA WE DO GET OVER IT EVENTUALLY, EACH DAY IS A NEW DAY.
  BIG HUGS SISSA, BRENDA

LOLOLOL..i'm dying here..deep breaths.. I really needed to laugh that hard today.  Ok, here we go...

Sissa,
When you get to the age, usually between 40 and 55, you will stop having
a period.   When this happens, your body goes into a state of shock, because
your harmones are out of wack.  So, you begin to sweat (not perspire) but SWEAT,
for no apparent reason.  And the back of your neck feels like you have a heatingpad (on High) wrapped around it, and you go to sleep comfortable (if
its summer), lets say about ...never mind, your in Alaska.  Ok..you go to bed
comfortable, not too cold, not too hot, and long about 2 or 3 in the morning, you wake up, because, not only are you sweating, you are soaked with sweat from
head to toe, including any bedding your body has been near.  It's nothing to be alarmed about...it just God's way of punishing us for eve's sins..  Every woman is different..you may have depression, and cry a lot, or have crazy
mood swings, that you had not experienced before. But the main thing most women experience is the hotflashes, which is the severe-sweating. Dr's call it menapause, or change of life, because at that point your body harmones are changing. My mother cried all the time...me?..I went through the mood swings..
trust me..you'll know, when it happens..terra

and if your 15 days late..it may be the beginning of menapause. Most of the time, it comes on slowly, and gradually gets worse.

P.S. Bren..snagged a bunch from U..
        loved the msn one.

Love sissa, perhaps the hot flash is allgric to me??

Charity had her headache yesterday while we ate dinner, but early though she

said she had headache during math support at school.I asked her what it is, she said" its like someone is poking your brain".

She asked me what is good for headache, my reply" I don't know" i never had any.
We rarely have any pain meds aroung the house as pain is very rare.
i know there is no pain meds when my exzema flares up, all i can do is ride out the pain.
Love sissa~
ps work hours will change begining next month~

Sissa, I've never had a hot flash...but I did have warm flushes that would happen..it was just a feeling of warmth that would start at my feet, move up my body into my head and down again. I'd say that the only reaction I had was to ask..'what in the heck was that!?'
I opted to use a hormone replacement made from plant protein...I've been using it since 1998....the first doctor that I saw didn't test my hormone levels first...and I shouldn't have been on it that soon. I've never had any problem, well...maybe I got a little grouchy but that was it, no mood swings...no hot flashes...just a feeling of being 'off' with my body and mind.
My sister on the other hand....she asked her husband for a divorce every night for two weeks...at 3 a.m.! She'd wake him up, he is a truck driver...and it robbed him of three hours of sleep every night. I stayed there for a few weeks visiting..and cut my visit short...she had the a/c on in the dead of winter! I darn near froze to death!! Plus she would flip between highs and lows....I kept my eye on her at all times, lol...I swore she was homicidal!
Menopause starts around the age of 40 and up....first you have the pre period, then you have the actual period..then you have the post period....it lasts for up to ten years in total.

there is pre menopause and perimenopause then menopause...You have to be without it for a full year for it to be full menopause.  Vitamid d...good for exzema and calcium..helps prevent cramping as well for our potassium a other nurtients decrease during this time.  iron included..oatmeal baths help too sissa...My skin was real bad at one point.
warrior...you guys also have a monthly...yeah    Ever see those guys who appear that they can use a bra as they get older?  There estrogen level rises and testosterone drops and sometimes ..oh what is that other hormone....Oh well..
As we woman age our testosterone increases and we grow hair where we do not want to as you guys lose it in places you don't want to...And they say God does not have a sense of humor...HA!

i have been iron deficant most of my life, i'd rather take iron through foods, not the iron pill, as it hardens the darn bowels~
still no hot or warm flushes....i am a basket case without the side effect of this change?
Love sissa~
