My engine light has been on....and off for a year.
Had a friend who knew a friend put it on a computer.
They said I was only operating on 2 cylinders, instead
of full power at 4. Shopped around...cheapest..cause they
gotta pull the engine was gonna be $800. I don't
think so! I'm not a mechanic, by a long shot, but I know
enough that I can run it on 2, for a while anyway, check
the oil often(more than normal) and fill er up more. Its
an 05 Dodge Neon, and I only paid $2000 for it. High
mileage, but majority hwy, and has been taken care of.
I wouldn't take her on a long trip, but she's just fine
for what I do. If you are divorced, you should have
something in the divorce decree showing the car to be
yours, regarless whether his name is on it or not. My
daughter went through this. At least, thats Texas law.
Now, if your planning on selling it, just sell it as an
Untitled Vehicle..people buy them all the time....
