My vacation that is. Back to work tomorrow. These past seven days have been one of relaxation. I did receive the results of my ultra-sound and it shows a torn muscle in my neck/throat and nothing can be done as I was told it will heal over time. In the meantime I am on another pain killer. My MRI shows my arthritis has now gone up into my neck and now have arthritis on my left side from neck to knee. I have been scheduled to go to a pain clinic and they will teach me how to be a pain lol. On Oct 12 I turned a year older and my friend treated to some birthday treats i.e. coffee. Then yesterday which was our Canadian Thanksgiving and she not only prepared a delicious dinner of ham, mashed tators, squash, apple cider and a surprise birthday cake. Then this morning I went and voted and should know by midnight who will win. The sense is we will have another Conservative minority and if that is the case why did we have this election when we weren't due for one for another two years. There will be the usual useless political chatter why this happened or why did that happen. Oh the joys of politics. I know you folks in the USA are also in election mode and I have been following it and its the usual mud slinging or is it? You folks have interesting candiates as do we. Here in Ontario we had someone vandal the vehicles of Liberal supporters that is they had their signs stolen and several brake lines were cut as well. We have had gorgeous weather "Indian Summer" as we used to call it or is that considered poloitically incoorect? It is still a beautiful time of the year. The trees are are all in their autumn glory. Overall God continues to be good, to be a blessing. I know I haven't been on much but I needed to gtet away from my routine. Vacation is also a time to get myself together. I told my friend on Sunday as we headed for worship services that I needed to get out of Social Work I've just had it dealing with behavoural issues, with other people's problems. However, as long as God wants me where I am I stay. God bless you all and thank you for all your posts.
