IRAN'S President HAPPY about Obama Win

Enthusiastic about Barack Obama's election, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad congratulated the president-elect today.

Tehran "welcomes basic and fair changes in U.S. policies and conducts," said Ahmadinejad, who encouraged Obama to pursue a policy of "non-interference" toward Iran, the Islamic Republic News Agency reported.

"I congratulate you on being able to attract the majority of votes of the participants of the election," he wrote. "As you know, the opportunities provided by the Almighty God, which can be used for elevation of nations, or God forbid, for their collapse, are transient."

"I congratulate you on being able to attract the majority of votes of the participants of the election," he wrote. "As you know, the opportunities provided by the Almighty God, which can be used for elevation of nations, or God forbid, for their collapse, are transient."
So now Ahmadinejad is a prophet?!?  Now that's deep!!  Can you say, "Kennedy and Khruschev"?  God's will for this nation is going to be fulfilled; and that has nothing to do with what Ahmadinejd says or thinks.

Saints of God, trust in the One who loved you and gave His life for you.  He is yet on the throne, and He does all things well, no matter how it may appear or seem to any of us.  With whom has He taken counsel, or who has instructed him:

13 Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?
14 With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?
15 Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

Isaiah 40:13-15 (KJV)

The heavens rule, and God sets up over nations and kingdoms even the basest of men, if it please Him so to do.  He has brought Obama to the kingdom, and to America, for such a time as this.  And that which He has determined for Obama and for the nation from the foundation of the world shall be fulfilled.  Our responsibility in the matter to make prayers for all men everywhere and for all who are in authority (including the President - Elect, Barack Obama)!

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for
all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

1 Tim 2:1-6 (KJV)

Let us humble ourselves before the King of kings and Lord of lords, the only wise God our Savior, Jesus Christ; let us bow our knees before Him of whom the whole family of heaven and earth is named, and say, Thy will be done!  Even so, Come, Lord Jesus!!

Until the Lord Comes!

I agree wholeheartedly Bishop...its time the church of the Living God got down to business of seeking God's face,because if his coming is soon we don't have time to play politics....we NEED to see souls saved.

From Wikipedia....

False allegations

On January 17, 2007, the day after Obama announced his candidacy, the Internet magazine Insight published an article claiming that Clinton campaign staff had told them that Obama had attended a Muslim seminary as a child in Indonesia and that they were planning to use that information against him during the upcoming primary election campaign.[212] The Clinton and Obama campaigns quickly denounced the allegations.[213] Investigations by CNN, ABC and others showed that Obama had not, as Insight had written, attended an Islamic seminary. Instead, for his first three years abroad Obama attended St. Francis Assisi Catholic School, and in his last year transferred to State Elementary School Menteng Besuki?/A>, an Indonesian public school for children of all faiths.[214] A series of Chicago Tribune reports found that "[w]hen Obama attended 4th grade in 1971, Muslim children spent two hours a week studying Islam, and Christian children spent those two hours learning about the Christian religion."[215] The series also stated: "In fact, Obama's religious upbringing in Indonesia depended more on the conventions of the schools he attended than on any decision by him, his mother or his stepfather. When he was at a Catholic school for three years, he prayed as a Catholic. When he was at a public school for a year, he learned about Islam."[216] In May 2008 Insight ceased publication. [217]

I'm no Obama fan and I think that it is a bad thing that he won...

But... having said that...

It makes sense that the Iranian president would be happy because the chances that we are going to haul off and invade Iran (like we did Iraq) are fewer now than under Bush or McCain.

Like Giantslaya said, and I agree, lets at least give him a chance. After all, we gave Bush 8 yrs, and all he done was dig us a deeper hole. (deficit) McCain was going to follow Bush's lead. I sure did'nt want to see 4 more years of that. Bro J, the state of Michigan is fixin to turn into a ghost town if something don't happen quick.
