So we were thinking of adding in the new show, Thursday as an independent. Only for those newbies and the lightweight people that barely ever get a win. And by Independent I mean like how OVW was for WWE now that they have a sister company with Florida. This Independent Promotion is going to be called Global Wrestling Empire. Some of you know this and some dont but this is the fed myself and Roxy use for storylines as a back-up independent gym owned by Syck's brother. What I was planning on doing was bringing in that character and having him tell Syck and Roxy about the new talent he has acquired. So instead of mixing in Mondays with Thursdays all the time, were going to have GWE in BUD.

Here's where I need you guys... What do you think of having four titles on Hangover and 4 other titles on Thursdays.

So far we have the Heavyweight, Franchise, Tag Team, BUDvision, THC, Bytch.

We move some stuff around and add in three titles it will look more like this.

Mondays: Heavyweight, BUDvision, Bytch, Icon (im bringing it back)

Thursdays: Independent Champion (Heavyweight), Franchise, Empress (Bytch), and Tag Team.

Mondays will be used for the already established wrestlers...

Thursdays will be used for the newcomers as well as the Franchise and the Tag Team Champions, whomever they may end up being.

First of all, whoa. I created a fed sometime last year while I was in BUD and it was called Global Wrestling Empire. Except we put GWe. For some reason I liked the E to be small. The female title was called the Empress Championship and we thought we were so original. That's so wierd. Yeah, anyway.

I'm not so fond of this idea. For one, it would be greatly diminishing the prestige of the tag team and Francise in my opinion. Wasn't the idea to highten the prestige? With this tag tournament, the tag titles are getting so much exposure, then we're going to banish them to some sister company, compared to OVW? I'm not seeing it. I think the titles should remain how they are, and to be defended only on Hangover or at the PPV. I do like the idea though, that established wrestlers are on Monday, whereas the up and comers start out on Thursdays. Though I still don't see why Franchise and tag team be defended only on Thursday. So you'd have Keith defend the title on Thursday (which btw doesn't make since if you're making him fight on a show for noobs, when he's a well established star) but on Mondays he'd be a Heavyweight title contender? Which he, or anyone else holding the Tag Team or Franchise later down the road, would be subjected too. Personally, I wouldn't have time for two shows. So if it was me, as well as probably most of the roster, I wouldn't even bother with the Tag team or Franchise.

So in my opinion, NO to the title seperation, but YES to the talent development type idea.

But to add to this, these superstars won't be NEW forever, and I doubt we'd have a mass influx like we are now every few weeks. So unless you intend on keeping these superstars on Thursday, and forever labeling them as "newcomers" I'm not sure this whole idea will actually work. What was the problem with one card again? I'm not even sure I like the Thursday idea anymore lol

I need the opposite perspective. Anyone?

We do 6 matches a card and we have a whole list of people that want to rp for that show. Im all for putting some in a triple threat or a four way, but not all the time. Which means that the judges HAVE to read every rp that these guys put out. Deadline is at 10 p.m. Some people take their time to read so it means we will probably get the judging results at about 12.

Thursdays would be fine to just list the winners and to establish them rather than them get mixed up and stuck in the backburners to the already main eventers that we have now. The titles were an idea to put up so that they will have something to rp for. It doesn't really have to be legit, just taking in some ideas that you guys might have.

They wont be calling themselves newbies all the time, if anything if they ask to be put on mondays and the old guys on Thursdays I would go for it. But that's down the road. I just dont want the judges to think that im taking advantage of them by having them read all these stories.

So if we keep the BUD belts the way they are and only defend them on Monday and PPVs; we can add three titles for Thursdays - The Independent Champion, Empress Champion and The Alliance Tag Team.  We will work with the newcomers and low carders.  And once the newcomers become established we can move them to Mondays; if they don't make it on Mondays they'll go back to Thursdays.

My only concern will be how they would take being placed on the developmental card.

I really like the idea alot! I think, for one, since our roster has grown so immensly, that adding a second show (even if it is pretty much all dark matches) it's a way to spread the talent out. It'd be like Heat to Raw, or whatever the other one was to Smackdown. A chance to get the little guys doing better, and we can see who belongs on which show, etc.

Something else to think about:

When I was thinking about how Keith was working his ass off every week defending the title against anyone, he really brings out the best in people and maybe if someone of low caliber could face off against one of the big namers from time to time, it might boost their abilities and morale just a bit to take the extra step to actually become better and not stay stagnent because they are competing against the same low-carders on a weekly basis.

What do you think?
