Sparow vs Misery
Stips: MOD Championship Finals
Backstory:
Judge 1: Misery. Alright tried being nice done with that. So here it is as of this moment I want everyone to know something “if your rp is illegible or unreadable it ain’t gonna be counted by me?if you can’t do the judges the common decency of at least making it so your stuff can be read then obviously it doesn’t deserve to be, so let all you wanna be dark on dark picasoes be warned the whole point of writing is to get your ideas and your mood out there, if you can’t get a dark mood across without needing black and grey everywhere then you aren’t doing the job find something else as a hobby. Now down to business. I’ll be honest about something the effort put forth was fantastic, both men seemed to want to go the way they work best and the rp’s came out great, however I want to say that their focus was single minded in this case that the rp’s of both seemed to be very linear and scripted there wasn’t anything really shocking and nothing that you didn’t see coming. However seeing as how that’s how real wrestling is I won’t bother harping on it. All in all god I hate to do this more then anything. Misery wins it, S-row has always and will always be my hero and yet this time I just feel that he was more concerned with getting a laugh and making his underlying point then he was with winning the match. Once again great job to both men though.
Judge 2: Sparrow - I thought both threads were entertaing in their own ways. I liked that Sparrow stayed focussed on his thread and his countdown and incorporated everything into that overriding theme. I thought Misery came out solid at the beginning but then later on seemed to be just answering/replying to what Sparrow was saying and not dictating his own thread. This was really close but I have to go with Sparrow by a beak. 2004 was BS and I'm happy to see the Birdman fight through the tournament again and in my opinion, take it finally.
Judge 3: Final Round! Nobody is stepping off as they both did a great job, but this is the part where it gets hard. Only one of you gets to become Master of the Domain while the other lives in regret on 'What if?'
Lets start this off with Misery, from day one I believed in Misery. Granted, it was revealed that Zarek Lyle was Misery the entire time, but it could have been saved for this moment. The whole vibe of Misery being a mistery changed a whole lot during the whole DSL fiasco that it became a controversy for people to accept you back in the MOD tournament. But they were all mad because they didn't think of this first, so with that in mind, we will probably get a 32 more entrants next year with masked men or females. Back to this subject. Misery conquered all until the finale. The final round, both of you rped your asses from Sunday to Monday. Its the last round of a prestigous tournament and you are both spamming each other? Misery, I enjoyed the whole feeling you got. You came and you literally countered whatever Sparrow threw at you. In your own miserable way, it made me want to go across the screen and tell you to stfu your face and win the match already. You made me believe you can do it.
Sparrow. The birdman started this whole tournament with songs. It was almost as if he made MOD entertaining by making it a musical number. Every song that he put out was being worked for a master rp which was put out at the end with the countdown thread. The entire time I kept reading the thread with the beach guy, it reminded me so much of TRL which is what it was. He is so original in making fun of movies, news, politics, and reality shows that it gets you pissed off because you think to yourself, why didn't I think of that? It seemed that he had it all worked out from the begining.
Both did a GREAT job. It was spammed out, but fuck it. Its MOD, you will do whatever it is to win. Even if it meant saving those rps for the last minute so that your opponent doesn't counter right away. GREAT IDEA GUYS! So here's my view on both of them. Sparrow came out strong and Misery kept countering and countering. Not enough time for 24 hours. You see where im going both of you? Both of you outsmarted each other that you didn't have time to actually counter one another in the two hours time span. It was countered but not much was said that should have been brought up. Misery's take on To Kill a Mocking Bird was great, but it was just one rp of it. it would have been awesome had he stuck with a much larger story of the novel or a parody. As oppose to Sparrow who had his own thread going with the TRL Countdown and the Misery story. Then again Sparrow's rendition of TRL Countdown was just that and in one spot. In the end, here we are. Sparrow wins this because he entertained you and made you believe that the whole 04 fiasco was a fluke. As much as I really hate to do this, im Not taking any credibility off of the world champ Mis, but he did all he could in a tournament where you gave it your all to be taken down in the end. Either way, I expect to see a serious rematch here real soon.
DSL vs Gypsy
Stips: Franchise Championship Bout
Judge 1:
We'll start with Gypsy who kicked things off and did it well, she had a good flow to her RP's and was creative in the way she carried herself. My only real complaint is she spent a good amount of time on her storylines rather than the match itself. She did get around to it, but I didn't feel it was the main focus until the final RP, which was done well though.. Nonetheless bar the no coloring (which isn't necessary but annoying to follow along unless it's in a book lol), I thought she did a good job showing Gypsy to be studying and preparing for the match while also doing regular things. Then we've got DSL who also did a good job, her RP's were creative and much like her opponent, I enjoyed the way the story was told. However she too I feel spent more time throughout mentioning storylines that she was involved in save for the times she talked on camera until also the final RP when she set her scene up, which I enjoyed. DSL seem to be lumping everything together as a whole when it came to titles and her aspirations, which was fine because it helped her character grow and show her focus, which is of course a good thing.
That all being said, when it comes down the the flow and eagerness to win a match as well as taking notice of when the RP's came in and how they played off one another and countered I feel it was Gypsy who slightly edged out DSL. Still a fun match to read but for the future it'd have been a lot more entertaining to see a little more back and forth between the girls, just some constructive criticism is all, good job.
Judge 2: And the winner for the great American writer of the year goes to? Both of these lovely ladies. The writing was of the quality you expect and the works were both exceptional however after reading them several times I have to say that DSL takes the victory, Gypsy’s work while fantastic as always seemed to have a little less punch because of her reliance on pushing backstory which to me kind of overshadoweded her drive to the title. Great effort by both women however.
Judge 3: Gypsy seemed to put more effort into it the whole time where DSL just came up at the end kicking ass. Gypsy's was entertaining to read as well as had more detail and creativity flow.
Judge 4: I enjoyed Gypsy's thread but I felt it was more SL and less on the Title match. I thought DSL had more focus on the match itself while still bring in some SL stuff. Both did well and I'd like to see a rematch if DSL gets the win.
Judge 5: Personally, I dont like DSL, im more of a cable/internet kind of guy. Geez, both of you girls really kicked it into overdrive by being girls and talking too much about nothing. I didn't know weather to shoot myself and just stop reading. But I pulled through and kept reading DSL because im that kind of person. I read things until I get tired and then I throw them in the trash. Since your waiting on my judging technique, allow me to make you wait some more as I get a sandwhich. jk. Okay, so, they both had two big stories to tell, but I was more interested in Gypsy's story than the other provider. It just stuck out there more for me and it went with the flow or her rp.
- Match 7 -
BreAnna Black vs White Trash©
Stips: Bytch Championship Bout
Backstory:
Judge 1: The challenger has to beat the Champion and I just don't think Bre did what was needed to dethrone the Champ.
Judge 1: ALL OF US I got serious wood while reading (but that’s because my mind is vivid and dirty so yaay) all in all though I’d call the match a draw, there wasn’t really all that much to really go no so I say cover them both in honey and let them lick to the finish!

- Match 5 -
Dante Cross vs Leaky Format©
Stips: BUDvision Championship Bout
Backstory: Last Blood Match
Judge 1: There is always one match that surpasses the main event in a ppv. This is this match. Im going to give it to Dante as he made much more sence rather than Leaky. Its been a while since I've seen Leaky just annihilate someone and he started off strong. But he couldn't end it strong when it came down to Dante who wanted his belt back. And he now has it.
Judge 2: Leaky is shocking us. He really wanted to win and he showed you exactly why. He has gotten better since the times of just jobbing. Its been a while since these two last faced off, butThis time, Leaky wanted to prove him wrong. He can beat him.
Judge 3: Dante was more creative and I was able to follow his thread rather than getting bored with Leaky's.
- Match 4 -

Akasha vs Kristen McMicheals
Stips: Straight Jacket Match: Located in a Busy insane asylum. Winner has to get the other person in a straight jacket and thrown into a padded room. Beds, Chairs, Almost anything is legal in the match up. Both girls want to make sure there is Blood and Tramatizing Memories to never be forgotten.

Sparrow
Judge 1: Kristen did you but there wasn’t enough meat. Akasha had too much meat toi the poin that is I ever wondered if she’d get to the point. However in this case it’s better to be over full then not to be full at all. A nice read from both ladies but in the end Kasha gets it.
Judge 2: A limit of 2 rps each. Thanks ladies. So I read both of their rps and they were hard. I like both characters and I did read the OOC board as to why Kristen couldn't end it well. Understandable. But I still have to judge this. Akasha wins only because she was strong and she knew what she wanted. But at any given moment, if Kristen doesn't have any personal issues, I want this storyline to have an ending.
