James vs Drew Stevenson
Stips:
Backstory:
WINNER: James
Reason: One thing for the bookers to keep in mind is that Drew Stevenson equals money. His character is so hated that his opponent will rp constantly just so that he/she can get that win over him. So the next time you book Drew Stevenson, keep in mind, he needs to be in the main event. On a side and particular note, where the hell has James been up until now or most recently? You should give Drew the credit for giving you the inspiration to rp your ass off against him. Then again, if you do give him credit, he will probably take it to his head in another rp. Lets start this off. Both did great. Lots of originality on both sides of the coin, however, one side of the coin needs to stand out and win. Heads, Drew is so constantly in his own little world with all these ideas that you just have to wonder where they were before he disappeared and lost the belt. Yes, I did say his own little world because this whole Lego Drew story didn't particularly had anything to do with the match. Although, if you are going to take this into another world, try it by adding more story to it rather than giving us reasons to throw a glass at our computer screens. However, the celebrity deathmatch spoof was indeed a new twist on the match and the fantasy world.
Moving on to Tails, James... or James' head. You really gotta give it to him. He thought this out. He went for the kill and kept his own pace. Not like Drew's other opponents who end up joining in on the fantasy world, but James actually stood his ground and said he was going to bring the fight to the ring and not in Halloween town. Was it James or his head? Does it really matter here? Quick catch-up here, it was really hard to understand when the head was talking then what James was saying. You could understand it, but at the end of the day, it wasn't even filmed. So its basically James just standing there quietly for a while and then arguing with himself. Going with the skitzophrenia does tend to get old at one point. But this time, it was like his mind was training him. His last rp included something like a split screen. Both of them talking at the same time, the skitzo head was telling James what to say and James said it on camera.
Now, its time to flip the coin and see on who it lands. No, im not doing that in all actuality, its more of a metaphor that this match was so freakin close that you needed a coin to just say fuck it and do it. Hard thing to do is judge a match that stands out in the minds of so many people and in the minds of the rpers fighting for this match. Both of them came out like caged dogs and just wanted to obliterate each other and trying to get the upper hand on one another. Drew wanted to speak but he put more attention on the fact that he just got legend credibility and he shouldn't be treated the way he was. James just wanted to fight and get this day over with by just telling Drew to STFU. Who will win this match you ask? Well, the person that wanted it more. And in my mind, some rps were counted for while the other didn't stand out or had anything to do with the match.
Drew, work on focusing on your match rather than having your opponent follow you to the land of make believe or in this case, Tim Burton.
James, work on that skitzo. Dont bring it in too much. Let it become a mystery or it will die down just like the rest of the gimmicks that have died down in BUD.
The winner of this match... James. He made you believe he wanted it more. He was on par with the counters and he surely made you believe he wanted it more. Both him and his head.
