I will write you a tut in the way I do floaties and glitter ok?
there are many different ways but I did it like this, it is the quickest.
It will give u a baptism of fire in layers. I have just read a couple of tuts,
and I cannot understand them either LOL.Ok here we go
Create your text, get it like you want it . I always create it in vector,
because then you can pull it around to fit the graphic.
Layers/convert to Rasterlayer
Add a drop shadow , to these settings
I always put a thin drop shadow on large text like this, it gives it depth, however,
if you prefer not to, you just leave that step out.
Open your glitter/floaties, whatever in animation shop.
Still In AS, Go to EDIT / SELECT ALL
Then EDIT/Copy
THen back to PSP ...Edit /Paste AS animation as multiple Images.
( the reason i do this for you, is because it will be easier to fill your twxt like this,
than work with TWO layered images, trying to keep them seperate)
Now select the interior of your text, using your magic wand, I always do this also,
because it makes for a tidy fill.
Duplicate the text layer to as many layers as there are frames in your glitter.
In colour palette, set your foreground colour to pattern and select the first frame of your glitter /floatie
.
Activate Frame 1 of your text layer, and flood fill it with the first floatie/glitter frame
Repeat this step, filling each text layer with the floaties.
Thats it, you have filled your text with animation.
Save it to your desktop and reopen it in animation shop.
Make sure the speed of the animation is the same as the original graphic.
You can change it to faster or slower if you want, if you think it looks better.
Edit/select all.......Animation frame properties, and change the number to how fast or slow u want it.
The higher the number, the slower the speed.
You should have this
This works for MOST animations into text.
If you want to add individual things in Animation shop you make the text the same way, but instead of working in PSP you work in AS.
Once again you make as many frames of text as there are Animation frames .Just duplicate selected til you get it)
You go EDIT /SELECT ALL in BOTH the animation and the text frames
Then you edit /copy the animation frame, and EDIT/Paste into selected frame of the text.
Like this
You use the paste method to add all sorts of animations to your text,
Like those ones I do with minis on them,
It is also the method i use to paste animated text into a tag
Just a tip, do NOT optimise anything before you have finished the whole thing.
As soon as you optimise, from psp format, you lose your clean edges.
I am sure you have seen ugly white edges in tags where a jaggy something was pasted into it.
I think thats it, but if I have stuffed up, just ask, and I will explain, I am not a great tut writer LOL.
