Well there should be a good deer population for this fall's hunt.

I've done my share, lol, they've eaten about half my garden this summer (as usual).

Knowing this, we put out a big garden. About 3 times larger than most. We have 100 deer per square mile in our area (we back up to a State Park/Wildlife Preserve) & between my springs & the garden, I think they all mosey through our place each day/night.

It's worth it though, I like seein' them. Adds to the serenity of livin' in the country.

Don

Been a quiet season. A few road hunters....one shot a doe in my E. hay field while my son was on his stand. He spooked them when they started opening my gate to drive in & get their meat, lol.
