In the past I have done: Leather craft (carving & tooling designs/scenes on wallets, belts, quivers, handbags, etc), wood carving, bead work, and woodwork...but haven't had the time nor inclination in years. Too much outdoor & farm stuff to keep me busy, which I enjoy even more and fulfills the sense of accomplishment even better.
Mary Ann is the true artist of the family....several of the kids inherited her talent but haven't taken the time to develop and go forward with it, modern living is so fast paced one can loose the essence of self trying to make a dollar for yourself to live on (and 2 or 3 for the employer & Govt.)......Here's a link to her work: http://home.aaahawk.com/~artbymay |
