(remember, you are joining a conversation dee is having with this white screen, ....... oh, okay... i'm talking to myself, since no one is here... JUST take a deep breath)
round one is over with... we unfortunately have a few more before we are out of here...
but having two places is cool,
except when you look for something you always have on you, and it's over there and you're over here and there's no way in helluva beautiful day in waikiki................. now i'm there, more than i ever was previously!
let me take that back ~ now we've got two places ~ we're still wondering how we're moving it!!! having a vehicle is an expenseive luxury out here... no place to park, high, high insurance... needless-to-say, we have no vehicle... we also let our driver's licenses lapse from new jersey and why take the test out here, when you can't afford a car?
did i mention that it's very hard to move things from point A to point B without a means of transport!?
as i mentioned above, the new place is a straightline east - only 1/2 mile from where we are now, still along the ala wai canal, but that much close to diamond head, now i'll see different angles and shadows, eeewww!!!
and the ambiance of that neighborhood reeks waikiki, not so much the tourist aspect as much as the classier type of people around - not the bar-brawling noise of college students and homeless people that hangs on the western end!. we're still two blocks from the beach...
which brings me to tell you that my phone service will not begin until JULY 10th and being in hawai'i... my internet access will not happen for seven days after that! (it's the same telephone company and well... they sure can take their time in hawai'i!)
i remember when i first joined my tele company's dsl plan... they also said it would take a week, but i had it in three days ---------------- so i may see you before the seventeenth - yay!
i bid you adieu tonight and i will see you on THE 17th,
Dee
