I love the fall! It is my favorite time of the year. I feel energized. The air is crisp in the mornings and cool at night. Being that I live in Texas, that is a nice reprive from the dog days of summer that we get here.Hot,humid, sticky and feels like 110 when in the 90's. Late August is when I begin to feel it,something about the air changes the feeling of fall starts to emergerge and I get ready to grab my boots and hit the trails. Today was finally the day! I did not have much going on and with the extra hour of sleep I just could not pass it up. We dont get the best fall foliage around here but still some some reds and yellows sparadic through out the greenery. The lake was low and my favorite spot along the trail (near the water) was a bit dry but that just gave me a chance to walker farther down. Saw lots of fresh water clam shells and cool rocks so that was nice. Some one had brought benches down to the waters edge I am sure an advid dock fisher who wanted a good place to plant themselves,so I took advantage and sat on the bench watching the sun settle across the autumn sky and sighed with the releif of another summer gone and new beginings that come with a new season.
Just thought I would share with yall. It has been awhile but always know you guys creep into my head every once in a while in my busy world.......take care and as always .....love and light...Pamela
