It has been a year of learned patience and acceptance to things I cannot change ( I'm not even a drinker!) And changing the things I can.I have moved several times this year trying to find home and peace and then a good friend of mine (20 years and counting) reminded me peace is within and establishing roots is the only way to move forward. It is amazing to me that everyone I know has said the same thing but this one friend hit home with me and I accepted her words and put them into action. I bought a house. It is nothing big just two bedrooms and one bathroom. Hell the backyard is bigger than the house! But it is mine.It is an older home in a quiet neighborhood. My neighbor to the left is in his 70's and been here since '52. He keeps a watch for my home and takes pride in it so I dont mind. I let him know I would not be home all weekend and he said he would hold the fort down
It was remodeled 5 years ago and has all hard wood floors (BEAUTIFUL)
Other than that I am working hard. I stopped dating for a while swore off men compleatly for about 6 months after I broke it off with my boyfriend back in December now I have started to date again, met a man at a mutual friends birthday. We struck up a conversation not expecting anything and  boom we have been out on several dates and are having fun.
So there it is my last 6 months reader's digest...and yall?
