How to Create Your Own Cheat Sheet

~At this time, we do not offer lessons on how to create your own HTML code. This tut gives the basics for those who want to try to learn to do it for themselves.~

~We have a board set up for you to start your own folder to practice on~

~You may ask questions on this thread~

~We assume that all who are following this tut already know the basic terms used for creating a bkg.~

Step 1:
~Open a new reply box
~Click on the Insert Table icon (it's the one that looks like a calendar).
~DO NOT, click the edit button
~Change the numbers in both the
Rows and Columns boxes to 1.

Step 2:
~Now hit the Insert Table button. You should have something that looks like this:

Step 3:
~Look at the bottom left corner of you message reply box. Click the little blue box that says
Use HTML to create your page
~Your reply box is now going to look like a foreign language. Don't let it scare you!
~Look for the word cellspacing and right click behind it.
~Click your space bar once and type in
width="100%"
~Now uncheck the HTML box and you should have something that looks like this:

You now have your first layer!

Step 4:
~To create more layers, click inside that first layer and repeat Step 1.
~Then go to the Padding and Spacing button.
~If you want this layer to be thin, like a glitter layer change the Padding box to a small number like 3. If you want a wider layer use a larger number, like 25. DO NOT change the number in the spacing box, always leave that set at zero.
~Then repeat Step 3. Always change the lowest cellspacing in the code.

To add more layers, just repeat the steps above.

Other Tips

~When you are done, to open up your text box jut click in your center layer and hit return a few times.

~If your layers are wider at the top, it simply means you have added spaces in them. Highlight the space and hit delete.

~Once you have your code the way you like it, you may now add tiles/glitters/ribbons and change your borders like you would with any other cheat sheet.

~If you want to rework a code that you have already posted, you will need to use the Edit button to make changes to it.
