I agree Lyn. When I first heard the song "One Shinning Moment" I thought it was a trio a quartet or a group signing it. However I do prefer Tom's version over Teddy Pendrgass' version since Tom does not "overpower" a song as Teddy does.
I also visited his website to learn not only about him but also to see if there were copies availabe. (Which they do have - a single CD of "One Shinning Moment" costs 6.99 plus shipping while an album that has "One Shinning Moment" and the song that perceeds it - "Golden Streets" cost I believe $12.99)
If I one wish is that I could get a copy of the song with just one change in the lyrics that is change it from "The ball is tipped - there you are to " The ball is hit - there you are. You see, I played church softball for a long time and yes, I have many "shinning moments that I have stored in my memory. Every time I hear that song, I think back to those days when I helped my team on to victory.
