I doubt it, Lynda.  The suits who came up with the BCS system seems to resist change to a playoff system.

What I would kinda like to see is after the bowl games played the old way - the top 4 teams play of the championship. 2 games one Saturday and the championship the following. 

Can you imagine - In one weekend on Saturday it's the college football championship and on Sunday it's the Superbowl.  The ultimate football party weekend.

 

The one thing people need to keep in mind is that these college boys gotta study too  :)

That would be great but like everything else it is all about money.  All college and universities do have an opportunity to make a bowl appearance.  That probably brings in big bucks to those particular towns/cities and that is maybe not a bad thing.  Something has to keep the economy going.
