They were good enough to make a bowl and they were as good, if not better than OK, at least yesterday. If Boise can run with the big dogs as the commentator said, then should they be able to toss "strength of schedule" out the window? And if a team wins all their games, like Boise did, shouldn't they be allowed to play for National Champions? What do you think? Lyn:) |

playoff brackets...it'll never happen, but ncaa football needs them to crown a champion because there are a lot of good teams besides the two that end up at the top of the polls that deserve a shot at the title. as always, money is the bottom line and there is plenty of it being thrown around. there were 4 bowls (rose, sugar, orange & cotton) when i was a kid and now it is up to 32, each with their big corporate sponsors, who care more about financial gain than determining a champion. imo, if ohio state wins and are crowned #1, boise st should be #2 but i'm sure an over rated one loss team from an over rated conference will be #2 |
