Thank you all , I am a firm believer in miracles and God's blessings . My brother has been started on some medication to slow the disease down as there is no cure for it at this time . He is losing weight rapidly but so far he is still working and doing pretty good . It won't be much longer before they have to put a feeding tube in as his throat muscles are not working to good , he chokes on plain water . But surprising for the doctors he can drink a carbonated soda with no problems . You all are special people to me and I appreciate all of you . Sorry I haven't been around to much but I do check in on you all when I have a chance . |

Things have gotten no better for my dear brother , he has went from 195 lbs down to 124 lbs as of yesterday . He is having trouble sleeping and his appetite has shrunk to where he can hardly eat anything . They have started him on some new medicines that will strengthen his esopagus and build his appatite . The other is to help him sleep . I can only hope that this new medication will help him as it is hurting more and more to see him wasting away right in front of me . Thank you all for your prayers as I am sure they are being heard . |

Betty, My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family, but most especially for George. May God keep him in His loving care and wrap His arms around him during this terrible time.
