Tony: Turns out my girlfriend is a Steelers fan and yeah, I am lucky (although I won't brag about it). Alisa was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. She even owns a Pittsburgh Steelers pen that I gave her for her birthday. Thanks for asking, my Harrisburg buddy. Leonard |

I think you should know - my girlfriend Alisa and I announced our engagement on Sunday, January 6. We've talked about getting married in October 2009. I'm sure Alisa would like to be a member of the Black N Gold Pride Club, since she is a Steelers fan. To Tony, I am very lucky to have a Steeler fan for a fiancee (the rest of her family are Redskins fans). Leonard |

Hey Leonard, this year should be interesting - The Steelers will be playing the NFC East teams in 2008; which team will Alisa root for? And if you need more fans to support you that day, let me know the place and the time - I'll bring my "Terrible towel (signed by Dwight White) along! |

Tony: My fiancee's parents are Redskins fans and believe it or not, my aunt Linda is also a Redskins fan (as are my brother and sister-in-law, although they are really fans of the Ratbirds and Dolphins, respectively). Come the 2008 regular season, I am pretty sure Alisa will be rooting for the Steelers - as I will. I do have news for everyone - Alisa and I got engaged on January 6, 2008. I've got news for all my Steeler brothers and sisters - Alisa and I have talked about getting married on November 21, 2009 (it was actually a suggestion from her mother). I thought Alisa was a Steelers fan - turns out she's a Redskins fan. Nonetheless, I still love Alisa for who she is - and that is my fiancee. Leonard |

You JUST found this out? How long have you known her. Hint: if her MOTHER is
already making decisions for you, you gonna have mucho problemos! Be sure
before you leap-I didn't. Just a little advice from someone who did

No need to worry, though. Even if Alisa is a Redskins fan, she is still my fiancee and I will love her for who she is. Her mother offered us a possible wedding date and encouraged us to focus on our relationship first and foremost.  vs.  Monday, November 3 at FedEx Field Will be a great game, but I have to side with my Steelers against the Redskins. Don't worry about Alisa and I; we are going to be just fine. Alisa has her likes and dislikes and I have mine. Her parents and I get along just fine and whoever they root for is their own business (as well as Alisa's) and I am going to leave it at that. |
