You're not the onely one as I'm eating crow.....for thinking the Steelers would not beat Jacksonville.

I admired Ben's grit last night.  As a ex-pro athlete, I can surely step back and relish greatness when I see it! The play toward the end of the game when Ben literally threw on one foot across his body over the middle was AWESOME for it's agility and strength.

Impressive, indeed!

Go Steelers!

Hey Shawn:

It's cool if I said it before. I played pro-baseball as a pitcher in the Cleveland organization until I had my career shortened by a line drive that shattered my fibula in three places. This happened in a spring training game in'76.  After being told I would never be able to play streneous/running sports again, I went on a personal crusade about two years after the injury....and within three years, I was granted USTA status circuit one.

My tennis accomplishment will always be my greatest hurrah....as I never gave up; however, like baseball, my career came to a medical end in 1990, as I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in the lumber area of my lower back.

Oh well....No tears were ever shed....as I wouldn't change a thing!  I'm very proud of having a chance to play, meet some extraordinary athletes, and have....FUN doin it, too!

Thanks for allowing me to take you and others down memory lane.

Did you play sports on any level?

Nothing like you just through high school . Baseball, Football and wrestling . Baseball was my best and I was even scouted but nothing happened . I could then make the ball do all kinds of things just couldnt throw no where near hard enough .
