Has anyone heard what Warren Sapp has had to say? He can talk about the white man and that is okay but, as an example, let Rush Limbaugh say something about McNabb and it is breaking news on every tv and radio station let alone the rags. And the sickening part is Limbaugh never once made a racial xlur. He just stated a fact McNabb is a highly overrated qb and that the defense wins the eagles the games, not McNabb. That the NFl wants a successful black qb, which is true, everything he said is true. And everyone knows it, they just don't want to admit it. The guy is RIGHT, check out the facts. McNabb has the worst stats in the NFC.
Here is where I am going with this............the Media will stir clear of Sapp's comments against the whiteman, slavery, etc because they are afraid of Political Correctness, bottom line, a lawsuit. But let a whiteman give a valid opinion on a blackman as a qb or just generally a football player and the Media is on him/her like stink on shit.
This has nothing to do with my opinion on Limbaugh, the man and it has nothing to do with my opinion on Sapp, the man.
This has to do with the DOUBLE STANDARDS that run wild in this country. A black man can call a whiteman names and that is just completely overlooked. But a whiteman is toast if he calls a black man names, or even just gives a valid opinion on his playing ability.
In my opinion, we need to get rid of the double standards and judge a person by their ability. My ancestors were not wealthy enough to own a slave 150 years ago, and why are we still talking about this?
How many millions does Sapp make? Trust me he is out of my league. MONEY IS POWER IN THIS COUNTRY and Sapp has enough money to make a positive influence on young black kids and do his part to stop the slave whining. Why isn't he? Why aren't all of the players (black, white, orange, pink, asian) doing their part to show kids that all colors work well together and are respected by their peers?
