I am sooooooooo pissed! 
 
When Terry was in the hospital I did not even bother taking my cell phone because the hospital says they interrupt the heart equipment.  So, I really did not even bother using my phone for at least 2 months.
 
Then I could not "Find" it when I wanted it so I reported it as lost or stolen to NEXTEL.(I will NEVER do that again)
They told me that to keep my $39.00 a month plan, I would have to pay $5.95 a month.  I naturally became quite curious as to why I had to pay anything on something I did not even know where it was.  So I asked why and I was told that the plan I have is no longer available, etc, etc, etc and to lock it in, etc, etc, etc.  I finally verbally agreed to this and when i got a bill for 60 some bucks I was just too busy, too tired, too confused to even call them, I just wrote a check for the 60 whatever and sent it in.
 
3 days ago I got a bill for $360.63...........my blood pressure hit at least 500!
 
I immediately called the 800# at the top of the bill.......I knew this was just a mistake on their part and I wanted to be sure it was cleared up. 
 
I explained that there had been a mistake made (keep in mind I am talking to some ditz who called herself a customer service representative) I attempted to explain that on 2 different activities on my bill, I was charged $149.00 TWICE  for nationwide calling.  I also told her that I could not use that many minutes up in a lifetime let alone in a month.  So she attempts to do the adjustment, putting me on hold to listen to Drummer Boy for 47 minutes.
She then activates her voice to tell me that the adjustment has been done but she can not "back date" it (whatever the hell that is) so I will need to call every month to get it adjusted.  I said, "Do you have a supervisor?"  She said, "Well yes"  I said i would like to talk to him/her"  She said, "I will put you through but you will get a voice mail"
Then out of the clear blue sky she said, "Oh, sorry I  can not make these adjustments."
My blood pressure is now topping 600 or so it feels.
Needless to say I hung the phone up because I was getting these feelings of you little BITCH if I couold only wrap this phone cord around your throat.
 
See, i have a great respect for customer service people because part of my job is collections, talking to angry people, etc.  So whenever anything like this happens to me, i am very nice.
 
I waited 15-20 minutes, then I called back. Whomever asked me my name and all that crap and all I would say to each question she asked was, I would like to speak to your manager.  She finally told me to call 611 and I would get a local manage I waited 15-20 minutes more,   I called 611 on my cell phone.
 
Long story short, I got the "manager' and he told me that they had made an "error" on my bill ANOTHER EINSTEIN) and that is should be $39.00 and I will put you on hold I said.......NO, YOU WILL NOT PUT ME ON HOLD!   I HAVE HEARD ALL OF DRUMMER BOY I INTEND TO LISTEN TO FOR ONE LIFETIME!   "I will make the adjustments now " 10 minutes later, "I am adjusting your bill", 10 minutes later "so sorry this has happened to you", (keep in mind I have said NOTJHING to be getting these responses)
15 min later I say, " WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?"  "I  am adjusting your bill
and I now have it $63.42.  I said, "Look, Bucko, My plan is S39.00 and I am not paying another penny.
 
I sent a check out last night for $47.43  I am still Pissed!
 
You know that commerical on t v with the guy who has a megaphone outside the phone company and he is shouting, "Look, I have used my vacation days all up"
DAMN I can relate.
 
I hate a cell phone, I hate the damn thing but I guess you have to have one. for our tailgate party if nothing else :) Mine is so old it is HUGE!   I refuse to buy a new one,  I absolutely refuse to.  Mine works and if it ain't broke don't fix it.....!  I donot agree with that on anything but a cell phone!  So.........now that I have my $39.00 plan back (if in fact i do) I will be calling yunz again!
