Terrell Owens is on a commerical or something with a scantly dressed woman. I have heard some people are having a problem over this, how about you? Nothing he does shocks me. |

I don't believe this is TO's doing.. rather ABC's doing. They want to promote a TV program. I did not see it yet, but understand it was a little riske' . Some people are saying it is racest because it is a black man and a white woman. Some are saying it was too "dirty" for prime time. She dropped her towel to the ground. As far as children seeing this.. There are worst things on video games. But the NFL and ABC should have and I am sure they did.. thought this ad over. Dadoo Dave |

I was kindly debating this with someone in an aol chat room. His alis (NOLIMITNELLY). He was complaining because his son saw this ad when they were watching Monday Night Football. He said it was very un-appropirate for his son to see and the future kids of the NFL and watchers as well. My reponse to him was why he had an alias Nelly which raps/talks about things that are much more severe than a tv ad to promote a tv show, yet he's complaining. He shut up after that. I didn't want to make him sound like he's wrong at all, but he was complaining when he was doing something worse. Personally, I don't think it was the NFL's fault at all. What they did was ABC's fault. Where I'm going with this is if you're going to promote a new show or try to get more viewers, that's fine. I don't think it was at all racey (their was a black guy and a white woman..... at least it was two black people or two white people) and as far as inappropriate, maybe a little, but you're always gonna have one person who doesn't agree with something. People sue others for one person not agreeing, so get used to it. Without bad commercials, stereotypes, and just plan stupid programming ads, where would their be debates, lawyers, and for some, fun! I think the Dallas cheerleaders show more skin than the actress in the commercial! |

The ad ran on MNF this past week when Philly killed Dallas. It sort of kicked off the game like Hank jr sang, "Are you ready for some football". That ad was TO and a "Desperate Housewives" ( a series on ABC on Sunday night)actress attempted to lure TO from playing the game. She did drop her towel infront of him in the commercial but no one SAW anything inappropriate. And Lesniewski was right, she showed less than the cheerleaders for Dallas show during the game. I think the NFL is a little dazed and hypersensitive still after the Janet Jackson issue from the superbowl last year mj |

I saw the ad. I thought it was in poor taste. There are lots of kids watching the games. They have "sex" rammed down their throats so much these days. Why add to it? I don't think it was necessary. As to cheerleaders, don't get me started. I'm glad the Steelers don't have any.
