August marked the start of my eighth season as a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and I will be the first to say that I am very proud to be a Steelers fan.  Although I spent the previous 29 (1971-1999) as fan of the Washington Redskins, it was time for me to make a change.

My final three choices were the following:

PITTSBURGH
DALLAS
CAROLINA

Glad I became a Steelers fan.  There is already a Dallas Cowboys fan in my family (my mom), a Washington Redskins fan (my aunt Linda), a Baltimore Ravens fan (my younger brother Michael), and a Miami Dolphins fan (my sister-in-law Karla).

Eight years as fan of the Steelers and I am proud as punch.  How about them Steelers?

loving the news out of the meeting between the patriots spy gate and the NFL commish to see that 8 more videos were turned over including the one of the pitts/pats in 2002 with them taping  the call signs by our coaches. I hope more punishment is on the way. its on msnbc ,,,CHEATERS.....

I agree, PeeWee.  What the Patriots have been doing is gonna hurt them big time.

I know that the Rooneys feel whats past is past but I was crushed when we lost those AFC games to the pats and there was alot,, I wonder what they will do now that more evidence has surfaced, maybe a 1 year suspension of the whole organization.LOLOLOLOLOL   Apparently money is no issue, hit them where it hurts the field..

I think you are right Lauren, obviously, money is not an issue for them so how about they pay all of us who attended that game what we paid for a ticket.  Matt paid $600. a seat or $1200. for the two of us to witness that AFC championship game when they knew our every move.  Rooney's comments back in Feb kinda irk me too, about it being okay or a nonissue.............We are not gazillionaires we are fans so if they wanna play kindergarten games I suggest they do it on their own dime.

Usually I would give a legal answer that might not suit everyone's tastes; however, in this case, I side with Lyn. If New England had "unsolicited knowledge" of Pittsburgh's playbook that was attained in a non-contractual matter, then New England was committing fraud the minute they stepped on the field.

FYI: It will be very difficult from a legal sense to get the New England Patriot organization to refund ya'll for possible improprieties that pre-existed before you walked into that stadium; however, PLEASE get together and begin an immediate "class action." as it will send a strong message to the Pittsburgh Steeler organization no less, NFL, that YOU do not mess with a Steeler fan!
