I was born and raised in Honolulu, HI.  In high school, I lettered in bowling and basketball (I was almost voted all-state for playing leftbench, LOL!).  I spent most of my days at the beach with my trusty Morey Boogie, Mach 7-7 bodyboard.

In 1987, I moved to Southern California to attend Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA (www.hmc.edu) as an engineering major.

Got married in 1994.  We eloped (though everyone knew about it) on Catalina Island and got married by the Justice of the Peace, a little 'ol lady named Fern -- she'll marry any couple, anywhere on the island for a flat fee of $75.  Instead of paying for a wedding, we opted to spend our $$$ on a downpayment on a home.

Not liking engineering all that much after 5 years, I attened graduate school in 1996 at Azusa Pacific University (www.apu.edu) to jump-start a career change.  I finished in 1999 with an M.S. in Computer Science.

I currently do programming for Raytheon in Pasadena, CA (about 2 mi. from the Rose Bowl), though with all the layoffs going on in the office, I'm not sure how long this will last.

My wife and I just had our first baby last june.
