THE FAIRIE RING

Robins singing in the dark
Bats fly in the light
Dogs meow and cats do bark
When fairies dance at night

A mushroom here, a toadstool there
The stones laid round and round.
If you should find a Fairie ring
A treasure you have found.

A wish you are entitled to
A wish you shall be granted
A wish to make your dreams come true
In the Fairie ring enchanted.

If when the moon is full and bright
You walk the forest deep,
When other folk are in thier beds
Adream and fast asleep.

You hear the sound of tinkling bells
and flowers softly ringing.
Tis but the song of fairie folk
In the ring asinging.

Pay homage to the Faire Queen
Come dance for her this night
A glowing little pixie scene
In fairie lantern light

Great Diva of the Forest Fae
Most regal in her beauty
Watches pixies twirl and dance
To please her is their duty.

With new bouquets and flower sprays
Parading for their queen
Little lights of fae and sprites
Aflickering are seen.
