My passions sung wildly that sunny day,

Like the wind caressing and pulling at the stringed lute.

Your soft bass words were given full play

On your full-lipped  wide mouth flute.

A gaze hesitating on my eyes said,

You are the one through your eyes

but mute.

I saw the look and my heart  read

It so sure and scared

I turned on winged foot.

 

Looking back, how could

we know so much,

The years ahead forever eletricity to our touch.

Almost three decades would glide by,

Three cascades of passion

And love would slide by

As a sled, silent and fast down a hill

Laden with snow, fast as a ride bye

Can be and such a thrill..
