It is clear that the sheep of God are in darkness. But, what caused this? The Word of God tells us in Eze.34 what did this. The answer is really shocking.

v2-Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of ISRAEL, and say unto them, Thus saithe the Lord God unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that to feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

v3-ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed; but ye feed not the flock.

v4-The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away , neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with CRUELTY have ye ruled them.

v5-And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.

v6-My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.

v7, -11-Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; As I live, saithe the Lord God, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock; there fore, o ye shepherds hear the word of the LORD; Thus saithe the Lord God; Behold, I am AGAINST THE SHEPHERDS; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall they feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be MEAT for them. For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I , even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

v18-Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet? And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet.

Now, we see from all this that it was God’s own shepherds = (the pastors and all other leaders of the church is what he is speaking of; calling them the shepherds), that he said led the sheep astray. How did they do this?

It said they ate (read the Word) then, they ‘fouled?it; or told it wrong; made up false doctrine. That is where it came from. And, because they were the ministers, everyone assumed they knew what they were talking about. So, instead of studying the Word for themselves, they just sat back, and let these shepherds lead them into polluted pastures.

Jesus said to EAT and DRINK his flesh and blood. This means to read and understand the Word he brought. So, the shepherds read the Word, then twisted it all up and gave the sheep a false version of it.

What is the result of this? The sheep wandered on all the hills and mountains. This means they went from one church to another; from one denomination to another, seeking the Word of the Lord. But, all they found was polluted pastures.

Isa. 28:8-For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

The tables means the same thing as the pastures; Where we feed.

So, this proves ALL the churches are teaching ‘vomit? COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE THAT YE BE NOT PARTAKERS OF HER SINS, AND THAT YE RECEIVE NOT OF HER PLAGUES.

May God richly bless all of you who read this and bring you into the true pastures of the Lord Jesus.

In Christ,

Joie

Psa. 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; ( Just as a shepherd ,God compares himself to a shepherd to show his great love for his people. God is so concerned about his children that he desires to love, care for, protect, guide, and be near that child, just as a good Shepherd does for his sheep.

John 10:11-14-

10:11- I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

10:12- But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

10:13- The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

10:14 -- I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

Isa.- 53:6--- All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Believers, we are the Lord’s sheep. See everyone has done as Isaiah said here as“sheep have gone astray?

Believers, we are the Lord’s sheep, thhe Lord has redeemed us with his shed blood.

1 Peter: 1:18 -Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

1:19 - But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. ( As his sheep we can claim the promises of God when we respond to his voice and follow him. For those who are true sheep of Jesus obey his voice and follow him. The sheep who stray from the shepherd and refuse to hear and follow his voice proved that they are not his sheep.

23:2- “He maketh me to lie down?( We can “lie down?in peace, free from all fear because of the nearness of the Shepherd.

John 14:16 tells us of this peace.

14:16 - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; ( The “Holy Ghost?will do for us what Jesus did for the Disciples of Christ while he was with them. The spirit will be our side to help strengthen us, to comfort us in difficult situations, to be a friend to us and to remain with us forever.

Ro 14:17 - For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost

“In green pastures?/FONT>

My rest in his presence will be experienced in “green pastures? As the green pastures are necessary for the life of the sheep, so is the word of God necessary for an abundant life for us. The sheep need the green pastures and we need be the word of God. Without these pastures the sheep would starve and we without the word of God would also starve. So we can see from this why we are compared to be his sheep. Thank God that he did bring us into the green pastures and out of that parched land, that Old Testament covenant. He brought us into the green pastures, the New Testament covenant where there is food. Nothing grows in that parched land that has dried up and waxed old.

joie why is psalms 23 talking of safety and water and vegetation in a valley when we are always looking to be on the mountaintop?

That jazz was indeed an interesting observation....some food for thought for sure....

v18-Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet? And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet.

I noticed something interesting in this verse so I am going to ask a question....Is this what Jesus is talking about in this scripture?

Joh 13:4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. Joh 13:5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. Joh 13:6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? Joh 13:7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. Joh 13:8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. Joh 13:9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. Joh 13:10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.

You know what Larry?  This is not a thing but that old 'pope' spirit of trying to control and rule over the others.  It is a bad spirit which is on every pastor of a church which I have ever known.

They all seem to think their members are their own exclusive property to control and order around.  It is just of Satan.  It is a desire for power over others, which Jesus told us will NOT BE AMONG HIS TRUE DISCIPLES.

When you see this kind of thing, run.  Know that is is not of God.  When a pastor thinks he has the right or authority to tell his members where they can go to church on Sunday, Sat. or any other day, and what they must give, and where it must be given, etc.  then know that you are under a hireling sent by satan.

Jesus gave us  FREEDOM.  If you are not free, you are under satan.

The churches are set up in this 'moderated' mode.  means~~  the pastor gets to do all the 'talking'.  He tells the rest what to believe, how to believe, how to live it, where they must go, how much to give, etc.  Never are the other members of the church given a change to give out any revelation God may have given them.  No, they are led to believe that only the pastor gets revelation; the others must just listen and obey this one man show [this pope].

It is the pope spirit.  The people are not allowed to ask questions.  They cannot 'question' the head man's authority or doctrine.  He is set up as 'god' to the people and they must obey or be ostricised.  Know what I mean?  Sure you do.  Every church goer has been through it.

All of these msn groups which are afraid of 'debate' are in the same class as these one- man show churches!   It is that pope spirit.  You had better not question what has been told to you.  no sir ree!  sit back and keep your mouth shut, even if you know it is wrong; you are not allowed to prove a thing by written Scripture.  It is a shrewd trick of satan to keep people in darkness.

These moderated boards, are saying you members have no right to read what some other member said, for you might learn something which  I do not believe.  You have no right to converse back and forth with each other, for by doing so, one might just come out of some darkness and see some light.  Now Mr one-man show does not want that.  Everyone must come under HIS JURISDICTION.

I say of that kind of one-man show,  away with you.  Get away from me Satan, with your 'binding down'  controlling spirit.  Let me see what the other members say.  God may have sent them some light which I wish to see.

Or maybe I can show them some light.

Away with your controlling, afraid spirit.  Why not let other members post their urls?  I have never resented anyone posting their urls here.  Why should I?  There is no
room for jealousy in the Work of God.

What are they afraid of ?  Everyone of us can belong to as many groups as we choose.  It does nothing against the other.  If someone wishes to leave here, that is their privilege.  It is not Christian, I am just telling you.

I have had members in the past who posted their url on every message they sent.  I did not care.  But I joined a group, a large group, a while back.  I had posted only two messages when their manager told me not to send an 'invite' with all the messages.  I immediately UNJOINED.

I mean, he had 800 members.  what was He afraid of?  Know what?  it is just plain vain pride and jealousy.  That is of the devil.

If we are all true Christians, what is this silly mess all about?

It is not of God, I can tell you that.

jo
This is a copy from a past thread;  but it helps show the truth of these hirelings who 'shepherd' these churches.

This has taken me back to the Garden of Eve when I read this. Well you may say how can you see the Garden of Eve here with these three men on the cross. Well let try to explain this. There was a thief on the left showing the evil in the tree of knowledge. Ok, on the right was the thief on the cross that was showing the good on that same tree. On the left was the Old Testament ( law) on the right the New Testament ( grace) and in the midst the 'Tree of Life' (Jesus) forgiveness. See the one on the right partook of the tree of 'Life of Life' which was in the midst of the garden which was forgiveness, grace which was Jesus. That is why Jesus told the one on the right to-day you will be with me in 'Paradise'.

He said in Genius man has become one of us ( whew where we could go there) lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: So that is what this one on the right was doing, he was partaking from the tree of life and Jesus was letting him back in  the garden. Even thou there was Cher'-u-bims there, some how Jesus commanded them to put down the flaming sword to let this man enter in the garden. We know that Jesus said that he could have called 12,000 angels so it was not impossible for him to let this man into Paradise. For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: Just as this man Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

This was also taken from a past thread.  It shows here that the 'one on the left; law' is the one who led the sheep astray.

I was reading something,  And God put it into my mind to find and send this 'Who Led the Sheep astray',  message to the top.

I did not know where it was posted, but found it.  I had heard in my heart to place Psa. 23 in with this, and was very surprised to see that Isaiah (Larry)  had already done that.  shows the one mind and one accord again.

Anyway, since we are discussing this matter of the sheep and goats,  I felt it would be good to also send this message around again.  This message,  'who led the sheep astray',  is one of my very first computer messages to write, even before I had Build on the true foundation.

I was acutally banned from one of the first grouops I ever joined, over this message, and the other message, which sort of goes along with this one,  'Who are the Jews'.
Boy, that message was met with loads of hatred.

People are in such darkness and error, that they actually hate the real truth.

Anyone who teaches things contrary to the Word of God will lead the sheep astray,  unless the sheep obey and study the Word for themselves,  praying with an open mind, to receive the pure word of God, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

the internet is full of blasphemous words and teachings,  If you do not study the Word, believe the Word and stay with the Word,  you will easily be led astray.
