Good Afternoon Freeborn,
I believe Rachel in is the Righteous line of the seed of the women. Tamar I believe was I think was not part of the righteous line. It is very strange that Tamar would name her child JUDAH. I may have to study out Tamar again. To see if she was the line of the righteous seed.  Gen 38:15 is like the people of JUDAH. All of this is like types and shadows as you call it.  I will have to study this some more and let you know. I was studying the sins of JUDAH yesterday. BOY! They really were bad. Covering ones face means shame. The people of Judah are like harlots, and they should cover their face because of shame of what they have done against GOD.

No, Tweety.  Tamar did not name her child Judah.  Judah was the father of her children.

He confessed, She was more righteous than I.

Yes, I think she would be in the righteous line.  She did the thing, not for evil, but because he did not give her his promised son, to raise up seed to his dead brother.  She was righteous.

8. Methuselah
9. Lamech

This line is after the flood.

1. Noah

2. Shem

3.Cainan

4.Shelah

5. Eber

6. Peleg

7. Reu

8. Serug

9. Nahor

10. Abraham (Sarah)

11. Issac (Rebekah)

12. Jacob

13. Judah (Tamar)

14. Perez

15. Hezron

16. Ram

17. Aminnadab

18. Nahshen

19. Solomon(Rehab)

20. Boaz (Ruth)

21. Obed

I am still studying all this out. I have a lot of reading to do. I need to read and study about how each of them was righteous.  Tweety

Took out that long 'return' post.  Not because of who it was from, but because of the long 'sent back' mumbojumbo
