~~~~~~ The Destruction of Babylon ~~~~~

What is really going on in Rev. 9? It is the destruction of the whore, Mystery Babylon. The trumpets are the wrath of the Lamb. So who does the wrath of the Lamb come upon? Not his people. It comes upon Satan’s people. So why would Jesus send false teachers to do this work for him? It is just not true.

God hath not appointed his people for his wrath; but he did appoint us to have tribulation. And His people have had tribulation from the beginning of the world when Cain killed Abel.

Rev. 18:24 said that all the blood which has been shed on this earth was shed in Babylon. This includes the blood of Abel. So Babylon existed then; it is false religion. False teachers are NOT destroying false religion; for they are part of it. They are what is being destroyed.

Most of the preachers today are in there for money. Take away their fat salaries and other benefits for a few minute’s talking each weak, and you would see them leave so fast you would miss it. They have not loved and studied the Word of God; they are not giving out the truth; for they know not truth. That is why the church people are in such darkness = error. You think your little church and pastor tells you truth? Not for one minute. They are hirelings and are just deceiving you.

Now let’s study Jeremiah 50. This chapter goes along with Rev. 9. This chapter fully explains what is happening in Rev. 9.

If you want truth, take the time to read and study this chapter. Verse one - The word that the LORD spake against Babylon and against the land of the Chaldeans, by Jeremiah the prophet.

v2-shows Babylon taken; a standard set up; her idols broken in pieces.

v3--shows a nation coming to make her land desolate.

v6-- God’s people were led astray by their SHEPHERDS. (what I just told you.)

v8--He tells us to leave her.

v9-- He tells of a group of people he will send against her which will shoot arrows (words) at her; they are expert men of war = Joel’s army.

v14--(Instructions to God’s people)-- Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow, (His army)-- shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against the LORD.

v15--shows this is the vengeance of the LORD - against Babylon. As she hath done, do unto her.

See, this is the reversal of rolls which I showed you is the locusts in Rev. 9-- which is the people of God doing to her as she has done.

v22--A sound of battle is in the land, and of great destruction.

v23-- How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!

v25--The LORD hath OPENED his ARMOURY, and hath brought forth the WEAPONS of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord God of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.

Now this verse 26 is the one which shows what the opening of the bottomless pit is:

Come against her from the utmost border, OPEN HER STOREHOUSES: =(their churches)-- cast her up as heaps, and DESTROY her utterly: let nothing of her be left.

v27--kill all her ministers =(her bullocks).

v29--calls God’s army together to do unto her as she has done.

The next verses shows her being cut off by the SWORD. This is that wounded head. Look at all it names: the liars, her treasures (her fancy buildings, etc).

v38--A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it is the land of GRAVEN IMAGES, and they are mad upon their idols.

This is the church would and America. Of course it is world wide also. But the church is full of graven images - at x-mas time, you could never count them!

The rest of this chapter and cp. 51 deals with this. Read it. 51:20 shows God’s people are his battle ax and weapons of war; for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms...

And it goes on to tell much more destruction by God’s people. They are the witness of Rev. 11. They are the locusts of Rev. 9.

But this in Jer. showed what OPENING HER UP is --- it is when we go against her to destroy all she has and is. This is that key given to Jesus. To this earthly man was given the key to open up this whore against God.

She is ‘opened up�?so we can go in and destroy her.

This the true Word of God. There is nothing can rebuke it.
