Isaiah 13- is talking about the same thing that Joel Chapter 2 is-

13:1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

13:2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain,( the high mountain represents the kingdom of the Lord Jesus) “exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles?

Now he’s saying there when God gives us out commission to go forth, that is what this is talking about, lifting up the banner upon the high mountain. The high mountain being Jesus and his kingdom. And that’s when he tells his people to go into the gates of the nobles and start doing what Joel was talking about the Joel Two. Destroy the noble people. now the next verse will prove it.

13:3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

13:3 I have commanded my sanctified ones,( This is Jesus talking, I have commanded, that is when he exalted the voice to us. Telling us to wait on him to the time that he rises up to the prey. See we have to wait until Jesus tells us that it is time to go forth. And that is the message, to the sanctified ones to go forth now and destroy the wicked.

I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger( The mighty ones being the one that receive the Baptism of Fire were called for his anger.) even them that rejoice in my highness. ( You see the Saints of God that were rejoicing in God were connected with his anger. It couldn’t be that we were taken off of this earth. It couldn’t be that he was talking about the people with the Holy Ghost. Because they were not called for God’s anger, they were called for God’s love, grace and mercy, upon people. Peter and on the day of Pentecost was the day when he anointed that first witness with power from on high by the baptism of the Holy Ghost for the purpose of love. Now the second witness is anointed with power from on high by the Baptism of Fire for the purpose of Gods?anger.

13:4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle

He said I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. He could not have been talking about sinners. Now look it is the same thing in Joel said - “The noise as a multitude in the mountains,?( you see as a multitude in the nations), “like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: ( now if you read the third chapter of Joel you will see where Jesus brings all of the nations of the world up to the valley of Je-hosh a-phat, which is a spiritual symbol. Where he separates the sheep from the goats, the good nations from the bad nations. If you read the book of a Nahum, it is talking about, he tells Babylon to come on and get yourself ready for the battle to call your people up, and then Jesus calls his people up for the battle of Armmagedon.

13:4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle ( See this Is going to be a battle that the Lord is hosting.

13:5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

13:5 They come from a far country, ( Remember it said that Jesus went into a far country) from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. ( This is when Jesus returns to this earth and gather his Saints together to him to fight this battle. It is not a catching up and taking us off on this earth. We were read a little later in Jeremiah where he said his people was his weapons of war. He said the weapons of his indignation, he said in Jeremiah his sanctified people was his weapons of war. So this is the Lord coming down from heaven, gathering his Saints together and going out to this battle. We will prove to you that this is the same thing that Joel was talking about “The Day Of The Lord?

13:6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; ( again it Is saying it is at hand. In other words when this takes place the day of the Lord is at hand, so this is not talking about a Sunday every week. He is talking about a time that only comes one time. The day of the Lord’s anger.

13:6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. ( The same words Joel said. God said in the mouth of two of three witnesses let every word be established, so here we have two prophets establishing his word, that the day of the Lord is a day of destruction from the Almighty.

13:7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:

13:8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

This is talking about Satan’s people, they are afraid when this day on the Lord takes place and comes upon them. This day is not going to come upon Gods?people. You do not have to fear this, this is not for you to fear. Fear that you will have to fear is the tribulation from the evil people. Not the wrath of the Lord, you will be doing this. It will not be upon Gods?people. If you have worshiped the beast and his image, the Catholic Church and the Roman Empire and that law system. If you have worshiped any of that this day will come upon you. It is only coming on them that has the mark of the beast, those that set up their Christmas trees, Easter Bunny and trees with eggs on them, those who have the Sunrise services. Any of this is the mark of the beast. You have it upon you, you are marked by the beast. The beast is the Roman church.

13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. ( See we have said at the beginning of this study that he was destroy the sinners, that is what this is talking about, this is what the day of the Lord is. The book of Revelation called it the Lords?great supper. Everybody says that this is where he has the bridegroom supper, but he said this is where he called the birds and the fowls of the air to come and to eat the flesh of the mighty men and is where Jesus tramples the wine press. The wrath of God, it is all the same thing. We can find this in other books what he called a great supper where he called the birds and the fowls of the air to come and to eat the flesh of these wicked people. That is God’s supper, his great sacrifice he said. He sacrificed that for us to get rid of those wicked people of this earth.

13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: ( can’t you see that it is always connected to the sixth seal. Where the sun is darkened and the moon and the stars won’t give the light. You can find it all through Gods?word. It is always connected with the day of the Lord and the day of the Lord’s wrath. ?the sun shall be darkened in his ( his not it, see this is a person, Jesus) “the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.?( her is a person, the church.)

Isaiah 13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Okay, let’s go to Isaiah chapter 33- We cannot use all the Scriptures because If we did this would really make this a whole lot longer than it already is.

First to Isaiah- to18:3- All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye. ( The reason we showed you this because it always connected to the sounding of the trumpets. When you get through seeing all of this you won’t have any doubt about the trumpets in the book of Revelation is always connected to the wrath of Lamb. So therefore it could not be demons coming out of hell like they say, it is Gods?people. Did he not say that his sanctified ones were the ones that were going to do this? If you say that it is demons out of hell like Adrian Rogers or so many of these other preachers say. Then they are saying that these demons out of hell are Gods?sanctified ones. They are the ones rejoicing in Gods?highness. He said that these people were the ones that were going to be doing this.

Isaiah 33:1 - Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

( Now what he is saying right here is to Satan’s kingdom , they were always the one spoiling people. they were the ones dealing treacherously and God’s people didn’t. Because of the command to love

their enemy, to turn the other cheek. All down through the dark ages, all down though the church ages when the Catholic Church was killing and torturing God‘s people beyond mercy. They did not do it back to them. But there will come a time when God reverses this thing, and they will not be doing it anymore we will be doing it to them. We will no longer be turning the other cheek but will be the one doing the torturing.

33:2 O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble. ( See in the time of trouble when that last tribulation is coming on the world we are praying to God here, the Saints of God are praying to God in this verse, for God to be our salvation is a time of trouble and he will be.

33:3 At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.

At the noise of the tumult the people fled;( The same thing that Joel said in chapter 2 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.) at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered. ( This is talking about when Jesus lifted himself up.)

33:4 And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.

And your spoil shall be gathered like ( like) the gathering of the caterpiller: ( Go back to chapter one of Joel and you will see that one of those worms was a caterpiller, that is what this is talking about.)

as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them. ( in other words it is not saying that we were locusts, it is saying that we were doing like the locusts. The locusts were Satan’s people. We will be doing like the lion, lion is destruction. The North in Scripture means to conqueror. Always when it said a nation conquered another nation it always said that they came from the North. When God’s people go out in destruction on the wicked we will be said to come from the North. It is a symbol not a direction. It is a symbol of power to destroy people. Now remember that the Caterpiller in the first chapter of Joel was the Catholic Church and all of their evil bunch. They were the ones that destroyed God’s people and ate down Jesus?fig tree and barked it and made it bare.

They were the locusts running back and forth destroying Gods?people, but when the day of the Lord comes we are going to be running back and forth like the locusts. That is the locusts under the fifth trumpet in Revelation in chapter 9. Look at it and see, it said they had hair like a woman and a face like a man. It is not describing no crazy looking bird. He is talking about a witness of God, a unity of people women and men, that is what that is showing. The reason that he said that this group of people had hair like a woman and a face like a man, he is showing that both women and men were in it.

33:5 The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness

33:6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

33:7 Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: ( talking about Satan’s valiant ones) the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly. ( Do you know who these ambassadors are that is crying out peace, peace when there was no peace? Rapture, Rapture, when there is no Rapture? Caught away, caught away, get up out of the earth don’t see no trouble. They are going to be weeping bitterly, because they will see that they were wrong. They are going to see that they deceived Gods?people and also see that they were also were deceived.

33:8 The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man. ( The highways that lie waste are the church things right now. They are the highways now but they are going to lie waste, because they are teaching the people wrong) “the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant?( The church has broken the covenant of God because they are not teaching it wrong) ?he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.?

33:9 The earth mourneth and languisheth (The church and become so earthly) Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.( The church has become as Lebanon and she Is ashame and hewn down and her fruits have been shaken off and become rotten.
