Where would Eve get this statement from? Genesis 3:2-3 (KJV)
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. What is wrong with this? Tweety

Tweety, I do not know exactly what you mean but the woman was right, God did say they could eat of the trees of the garden what i see in this is that God did not say the tree which is in the midst of the garden. he said not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God said ----- Ge 2:9 - And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely from what I see the tree of life is what was in the mist of the garden . |

Larry, that is a very good observation. I have never heard anyone bring that out before. Never noticed it myself. But I just now read all of cp. 2 and 3, to check it all the way out. It is true. The tree of life is the only one said to be in the midst of the garden. The forbidden tree is never said to be in the midst of the garden. So apparently then, Adam did worse than we thought. He must have actually told Eve that the tree of life was forbidden. So then she would have taken of the other tree, thinking it was alright. Wow. what a horrible deception.! No wonder the world still reels in the lies of Satan! No wonder they still hit so hard at women and their place in God. |

I want every member of this site to go read Chrissnell's post, #53, on the thread, Who is Babylon. I want every person in here, who claims to know one thing about the true God, his true Word, and have even one tiny hope for salvation, to take a stand.....either agree with this hideous, filthy LIE, or take up rebukes against it. There comes a time when God will require everyone of you to take a stand, either for or against HIM. if you cannot rebuke this kind of filthy, ungodly lies, against God's word, then you are not worthy to call yourself a Christian. Go tell the world you hate truth, and are to cowardly to speak, if you cannot let your little name come forth against this kind of filthy lies. I want to see if one of you has the guts to rebuke this evil man with me! How many, is there one of you, who dare to let God know you will bear one tiny bit of reproach for truth and rebuke this lie.....if not. do not tell anyone ever again that you are of God. People in past ages took unbearable torture to stand for God......can you softies not rebuke one horrible lie and worker of Satan, for coming in here , again, fighting God, Jesus Christ, the KJV, and those of us who teach truth? Where is anyone with one tiny bit of backbone? I have had many members turn against me and leave this site because of these kinds of EVIL WORKERS OF SATAN. wELL ALL I can say is, they are not Christians. Another thing that I saw was Satan ( serpent) said neither shall you touch. God never said that. We all know that Jesus is the tree o f life. Satan did not want the woman to touch because she would be made whole. Mt 9:20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: 21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. Re 2:7 - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Jesus was the one in the midst. - Eph 2:14 - For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

AMEN TO THAT. It is the glory from Heaven. It is the Bread of Heaven. It is LIFE. Larry, that is mighty good teaching. Food for my soul, and I surely do need it right now. I see then the true horror of adam's lie to Eve, He was doing exactly as chris, and the many others who come in here, spouting out Satan's lies, ...they seek to keep us from the Tree of Life. Yes, that is it. adam did not want Eve to be filled with Life or the Holy ghost. He wanted her in the bondage of law, so he deceived her into thinking that the truth was a lie....that life was really the death tree, so that she inadvertenly partook of the death tree, thinking it was the life tree. that is what these liars come in here doing, seeking to turn us all away from the only way to LIFE, WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST AND HIS MESSAGE OF GRACE. sOMEday, those who went away from us, thinking we were the evil ones, will come to see that they have been sorely misled and deceived as Eve was. by one MAN, ADAM, sin entered this world, and death by sin. Adam was NOT TO RULE OVER HIS HELPMEET. It is impossible to be a helpmeet, if that person in being ruled over, or in bondage. Men are so deceived that they think the woman was made for his PLEASURE. and by this deception, men take young girls into bondage and use them thinking it is their God-given right. Yes, she is digging deep into the word and getting some good things. It is so wonderful to see the children of God getting into the Word. else how do they expect to grow up in Christ? Only those who put forth the effort to learn and grow up, will make it into the Kingdom of God. Many have been deceived into thinking that all it takes is just saying , I believe in Jesus. forgive my sins. And they think that insures them of eternal life. It is a teaching from Satan's pupit and his evil kingdom. it is the same as deceived Eve, for a short time. |

There is so much information of the truth about how the Catholics have murdered and brutely totured so many Christians, that I honestly do not understand how one soul in our day could stand with that rotten and evil organization. Surely they are the very embodiment of Satan on this earth. God said, that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. So this puts them all down to hell. And I pray they have the very worst part that there is. There is just no end to evil they have done on this earth, and would be doing right today, in our land, if they just could. God spare the world of ever falling into their evil hands again. This is one reason I try so hard to wake folks up to the evils and filthy teachings in this world. Repent, and come into God's truth. |

Freeborn, I put that verse up here because EVE made an addition to GOD's WORD. Eve was decived into thinking that she could not touch the fruit of the tree. And you know what you always say to me. Do not take away or add to GOD's Word. She was decieved BEFORE SHE ate of the fruit. Where would she get a statement like she said if it was not Adam that told her? God only told ADAM about the tree. So he was suppose to teach EVE about the things of GOD. He twisted all of it. This is starting to read like a plot before EVE was created. I am still going to study out about the seed of the women. That is exactly right, Tweety. She added to God's word, because that is what Adam had told her. Everyone wants to blame Eve, but the Word plainly says that she was deceived. Her own mind did not deceive her. Adam deceived her. You just stated the facts that prove without a doubt that Adam is the 'serpent' who deceived Eve. else, two deceived her. No, the word does not say two deceived her. It was only her sinful husband. Also from this study we have seen that Adam not only told her she could not touch it, but that he was pointing out the wrong tree and telling her not to 'eat' or partake of the Tree of Life. So, Eve, wishing to obey God and do right, partook of the wrong tree, = law. So she ends up making an animal sacrifice, thus doing despite to the spirit of Grace and trampling the blood of Jesus Christ. These things are true all through the Word of God, not just in Genesis. |
