Lewis and his family needs yalls prayer. They had to call hospice in with him today and it does not look real good at all. His breathing is very limited and he is having hallucinations. He is seeing people out in the yard and everywhere.

Will be back and forth down to his daughter's and son-in-law's house where he is staying. Probably also will have take my brother Billy that is living with me, up to his granddaughter house for a few days, Know he will not be wanting to do a lots of running. So once again pray for their family and also I desire your prays to. Thanks

Larry

Joie, thanks, but I am sorry to say that Lewis died last nite about 1:00 am. I am just glad that he did not have to lay there gasping for breath, like he was doing. That is what I prayed is that the good Lord would not let him do that, if it was his time to go. Thanks, joie for the prayers and may the good Lord bless you.

Larry, I am very sorry about your brother.  I felt he would die, and that is why I did not pray on the board.  I felt it was not to be prayed this time, for him to recover.

It is always so sad to lose our loved ones.  But as you said, there comes a time when it is best for them to go on.

When Rachel was run over,  I could not pray for her to recover.  I did not see that she could, so I just prayed for God to do what was best for her.  As soon as I said those words, I knew she would not live.  Fact is, she was already dead, then and I did not know it.

God leads us what to pray and what not to pray.  Blessed be his Holy Name.

Hope you are doing ok.  and all the rest of the family.

God bless you,
Jo

Lexington - Lewis Wesley Miller Sr., beloved husband of 66 years to the late Florence Pearl LaCount Miller, died September 18, 2008.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Alice LaFay Sims; brothers, Vernon, Dorsey, Seneca, James and Norman Bray; and his sister, Katherine Stowe.
Mr. Miller was formerly of Athens and was retired as Maintenance Director with Athens Housing Authority, where he had a wonderful family of friends. Following his retirement, he enjoyed crafts, photography and baking. Mr. Miller was a proud veteran of WWII, where he was a recipient of the Purple Heart.

Survivors include his son, Lewis Wesley Miller Jr. and daughter-in-law, Dolly; daughter, Linda Robinson and son-in-law, Tommy; brothers, Billy, Larry and Ferrell Bray; grandchildren, Tina Martin, Cheryl Willingham, Melissa Martin, Renee Hartley, Tracy Galloway, Charles Martin, Lesley Miller and Michael Sims; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 until 9 PM.

Larry, when you come back in and see this, please delete it then.  Thanks, and I hope you do not mind my publishing this here.  There are so many who try to insinuate that you are me and otherwise, that I decided to publically prove that you are you and not me.  Also, hope some of our members see this and offer their blessings to you.

God bless you and family.

Jo
