I feel very strongly led to start a new board for the purpose of discussing the important issue of FAMILY. I wish to start discussing the right way to raise children.

This is so important and so many do not go by the right and loving way to raise their children.

This is causing a lot of harm in our world and especially in the lives of children.

My heart is greatly burdened for the children of our world today. I greatly feel we need to get back to loving and instructing the children in grace and the things of God.

I wish to discuss this in depth. I hope all of you who may still visit here, will join in this board and post your thoughts and ask any questions you may have in your heart.

I will not say much to this tonight as I am very tired and need to get to bed a little sooner than I have done lately.

You may just speak your thoughts here and not have to just teach Scripture. This is for open discussion, since this is a personal issue and very needful for all to speak and learn about raising children and for husbands and wives or any other groups of people.

Siblings, cousins or just friends may all be discussed here. We all have to learn how to behave toward others as true Christians should or even just anyone should. It is not just for Christians to act right toward others. It is for everyone.

<NOBR>Eph 6:4</NOBR>	And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord

It seems to me that most parents always hold the thing up to their children that they should obey and honour the parents.

They seem to think this is the only necessary point for the family to abide by. They seem to think the whole load of making the family run smoothly and in peace, lies on the shoulders of those children.

It is a trick of Satan to cause disruption and hurt and horrible consquences in life. children do not have the strength or capacity to carry this load and make the family work in harmony.

It is up to the parents, the grown people [?]- to make this happen.

that is why God said you fathers, do NOT PROVOKE YOUR CHILDREN.

Do not hurt them, say bad things about or to them, do not discourage them, do not run them down, do not curse them, do not beat them, do not critize them to others. And on and on I could go with the things parents do to hurt and discourage their children.

The more they cause hurt to the children the more the children will strike back and become hard to deal with. This in turn causes the parents to get upset and then they abuse the children, both verbably and physically.

This ought not to be. You should LOVE your children and TREAT THEM BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE. Yet most parents treat their own children worse than any others in their lives. WHAT A SIN AND A SHAME.

Parents, get back to talking to and loving your children. Spend time with them. Don't just set them down to a TV or games or other things and ignor them. Show them you love them.

Pray with them. Read the Word of God to them. Sit and talk gently with them.

I am telling you all and warning you all, this abuse to children must stop. God is very angry at the way children are being mistreated in our world today. Their souls are being sent straight to hell fire because of a lack of training and love.

Why should you treat your own flesh and blood children so horribly? what is wrong with people? Why do so many men beat and abuse their wives and children?

Help us get people back to praying together and loving each other. Teach your children not to abuse their loved ones. Show them the right way of love and GENTLENESS.

Stop screeming at your children. Stop hitting them. But do correct them. Do this in love and WORDS OF INSTRUCTION.

People, slow down and love your families. Destruction is upon all who fail at this.

So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare CHILDREN.

Pray for your family and they will bare children......children for and to God.

And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given CHILDREN suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

It is a type....we are to be fruitful and bear children for God in our old age.

Ge 23:7

And Abraham stood up, and bowed himself to the people of the land, even to the CHILDREN of Heth.

This is also a type for us; as great as Abraham was, he humbled himself and bowed to these other people. This is the way to show the greatness of love of God and be rewarded for it.

And the CHILDREN struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD.

This is a type of our old man and inner new man in our 'spiritual; womb struggling with each other. way in the camp!

And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no CHILDREN, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me CHILDREN, or else I die.

This one is great; shows that unless we bear children for God, (our own self serving him) we will die spirituall and eternally.

Give me my wives and my CHILDREN, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou knowest my service which I have done thee.

This is a type of Jesus acquiring the woves and children which he served for.

For all the riches which God hath taken from our father, that is ours, and our CHILDREN's: now then, whatsoever God hath said unto thee, do.

This is great.....here the family of Jesus followers him wheresoever he goes........submits to his request and shows that they have taken the riches from their 'father' Adam (Satan) and followed Jesus.

And Laban answered and said unto Jacob, These daughters are my daughters, and these CHILDREN are my CHILDREN, and these cattle are my cattle, and all that thou seest is mine: and what can I do this day unto these my daughters, or unto their CHILDREN which they have born?

Here Laban types Satan as he tries to hold claim to his 'children' after they have gone over to Jesus who laboured for them.

Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the CHILDREN.

Esau, the elder, types law, Satan, flesh. So Jaboc prays for his family to be delivered from the hand of 'satan'.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

But who trains them anymore? Most people turn the reigns over to the children to rule and boss the family. I see it all the time.

People give the child too much authority and power,. It destroys the child and the parents and the family.

Yet this is the fashionable thing to do in our day. ruin them. deceive them. give them movies. never, but never teach them to pray and live by faith.

Sure, then turn them into murders, who will never make their parents ashamed by praising the Lord Jesus.

hummm.
