The following are the 10 most prominent Biblical tips for waging a Godly war in the Middle East.

And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them?/EM> (Deuteronomy 7:2).

And when the Lord thy God hath delivered [a city] into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword: But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself?/EM> (Deuteronomy 20:13-14).

“And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males. . . . And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods?/I> (Numbers 31:7-9)

And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The Lord is able to give thee much more than this. . . . And Amaziah strengthened himself . . . and smote the children of Seir ten thousand. And other ten thousand left alive did the children of Judah carry away captive, and brought them unto the top of the rock, and cast them down from the top of the rock, that they all were broken in pieces?/EM> (2 Chronicles 25:9-12).

“When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an axe against them: for thou mayeth eat of them, and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man’s life) to employ them in the siege?/EM> (Deuteronomy 20:19).

“But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses. The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea: That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same?/EM> (Psalms 68:21-23).

“But of the cities of these people, which the Lord thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth?/EM> (Deuteronomy 20:16).

“Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city [of nonbelievers] with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword?/I> (1 Samuel 13:15).

“And that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of Jerico. Then Joshua passed from Makkedah, and all Israel with him, unto Libnah, and fought against Libnah: And the Lord delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel: and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it?/I> (Joshua 10:29-30).

Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass?(1 Samuel 15:3).

“But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy. Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand?/EM> (2 Chronicles 36:16-17).

And David commanded his young men, and they slew them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged them up over the pool in Hebron?/EM> (2 Samuel 4:12).

“And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord?/EM>(Joshua 6:24).

During this grace age, I do not see that God is leading into this destruction. The government is now directing our soldiers.

But you know that when the Apostles desired that Jesus let them call down fire from heaven and consume the Samaritans, (As Elijah had done) Jesus told them, I did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.

But.....know that there is coming another day in the which God will again turn his wrath against the ungodly and consume them out of the land. He will destroy the wicked until no sinners are left on this Earth which God made for his own glory.

See, it is a very dangerous thing to disobey and mock God. right now, during this grace age of mercy, it 'appears' that they are getting by. but no......God said beware all you who forget God, lest he tare you to pieces. It happens everyday. just goes unrecognized.

read this--- it is prophecy for the day when the wrath of the Lamb will be poured out without mercy against all the modern-day mockers:

Eze 9:1 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
Eze 9:2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brazen altar.
Eze 9:3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;
Eze 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
Eze 9:5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
Eze 9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
Eze 9:7 And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.
Eze 9:8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?
Eze 9:9 Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.
Eze 9:10 And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.
Eze 9:11

And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.

Do you not think that since God created us all, the whole earth, and heaven and all other things, we belong to Him; we are told to obey him; He has the right and obligation to do away with the wicked which cause all the violence on earth, so there can finally come peace and a good life for all God's people? Think on this.

I understand Jo,just because God loves to kill babies, doesn't give me permission to do it

2 Kings 15
16 At that time Menahem, starting out from Tirzah, attacked Tiphsah and everyone in the city and its vicinity, because they refused to open their gates. He sacked Tiphsah and ripped open all the pregnant women.

Hosea 13
16 The people of Samaria must bear their guilt,
because they have rebelled against their God.
They will fall by the sword;
their little ones will be dashed to the ground,
their pregnant women ripped open."

Hosea 9
16 Ephraim is blighted,
their root is withered,
they yield no fruit.
Even if they bear children,
I will slay their cherished offspring."

Since killing their unborn children is one of the many punishments the followers of God have inflicted on nonbelievers, it is obviously not an act any True Christians may undertake for themselves.......

.....???????? and all of this plants no FEAR of God in you???????
You still fear not to mock him and speak evil against our Holy God?

You know not the reasons for all of this...no human being truly knows what God knows. But -even if you can never see or understand.........it is because of His great MERCY that all of this is done.

When God sees the wicked reproducing, they are also bringing forth seed of corruption and violence. If they continued to reproduce without anything standing in their way, this whole earth would be so filled up with violence and bloodshed by these 'animal' people, 'beast' people, devil-possessed people, that no one would be safe.

Is that what you want?

Now all of those things also type spiritual things. this whore church of today is bearing offspring who hate God and truth and teach evil and things to send souls into hell fire. So God is going to kill her children with DEATH.

They will all be cast into the lake of fire -------along with all who hate and mock God.

So be carful......be warned....God is NOT MOCKED......WHAT YOU SOW,,,,,, YOU WILL REAP.

If you sow corrupt 'seed' = word ----you will reap corruption.

Have you no fear of God?

Jo

Joe44 haven't you heard, Yahweh giveth, Yahweh taketh away? What have you given, besides opinions and hot air. This is His, not yours, [CREATION] you are paid for buddy, in blood, not yours either, that is why you are free to speak, you are also free to learn [if you wish], you know free will. Remember He does not have to prove anything to you, the mere fact that you are alive, means He has proven His Love etc...

PEACE!!!

ERIC,you mean you do not fear God?

Exodus 18:21
But select capable men from all the people-men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain-and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.

God might lose his temper on you.

  • "...the Lord may turn from the fierceness of his anger...." (Deut. 13:17).
  • "The anger of the Lord was hot against Israel and he sold them into the hand of Mesopotamia's king...." (Judges 3:8).
  • "...the Lord shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them" (Psalm 21:9).
  • "again the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel...." (2 Sam. 24:1).

    Joe44, please consider this:

The Almighty God created us a beautiful world to live in. He gave us His sun, His moon, His rivers and fountains of water; He gave us all kinds of wonderful tasting foods for our enjoyment and health.
    He gave us eyes to see with, nose to smell with, ears to enjoy sound with, nerves to enjoy feel with, ability to reproduce darling babes in our own likeness and hold their precious bodies in our arms;
He gave us air to breathe, lungs for this, more lovely flowers, grasses, trees, lovely insects, gorgeous birds, all kinds of animals to enjoy, than we can ever see.
more beauty to see than we can ever comprehend,
    herbs for beauty and health,
more blessing than we can ever realize or tell...............

yet, in spite of all of this, most people on earth have always hated this great, glorious loving God and rebelled against Him and spit in his face, cursed him, disobeyed him, done dispite to His Holy Spirit, refused to love, worship, or obey him........done evil in his sight, done violence to each other, which thing God hates........

So why should not this great God also take and destroy these evil, violent, God-hating creatures and send them to hell so this earth can one day be filled with only love, glory, and enjoyment to those of us who love and fear and reverence and worship this incomprehensable God?

Now where are you in all of this?

    jo

.........and not only that.....but after man fell into sin and disobedience, God let his precious Son, Jesus live here in abuse from almost everyone; let him die the most horrible death which can come to anyone; Jesus was beaten beyond words or mercy; he was tortured beyond anything you can imagine, he then went into hell fire to pay the price for our sins, so we could be set free to once again fellowship the true God, and have eternal life in a pain free world of glory beyond your imagination.....

And in spite of all his sufferings for man-kind, most of them still hate him, spit in his face, curse him, reject him, disobey him, do dispite to His Holy Spirit and hate his salvation.......

So what do you think a just God will do to these disobedient, Jesus-hating people?

Why should He not send his wrate upon them for rejecting the sufferings and sacrifice Jesus did for us, and speak evil of him?

Why should God not strike you dead right now for your evil speaking of this Holy Jesus who died for you?

Only His great mercy keeps you, or any of us alive another day..........think on this.
    Jo

Right Jo,I don't know the babies that are wicked, immoral, and degraded.

I do not have the ability to read hearts, nor do I have the ability to foreknow the future. God has both. God made mankind responsible for the upbringing of their children. A people who had no qualms about sacrificing their own children in fire to pagan gods could hardly have been said to care for their offspring.

God, the creator of human dna, certainly has the ability to read the heart of an infant [ie the motivating factors inherent in that child] and forsee the kind of person it will become. The Psalmist David said of Jehovah......

Psalm 139: 15 My bones were not hidden from you when I was made in secret ......16 Your eyes saw even the embryo of me, And in your book all its parts were down in writing,

This was demonstrated in the situation where God "examined" Jacob and Esau while they were still in Rebecca's womb and foretold that "the older would serve the younger".

So, in the case of any infants that died during the battles ordered by God, he knew the kind of adults they would become and judged them to be unworthy of life.

Thank you Jo,also the Bibles says in Deuteronomy 28:1-3 "And if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, Being careful to do all his commandments ... Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the field."

On the other hand, Deuteronomy 28:58-59 warns: "If you are not careful to do all the words of this law ... The Lord your God will bring on you and your offspring extraordinary afflictions, afflictions severe and lasting ..."

These scriptures are so clear a child could undertstand. God promises the Jews blessings for obedience, but SEVERE PUNISHMENT if they disobey!

God promised for obedience, so it is obvious that they must have been DISOBEDIENT! And as disobedient sinners, they fully deserved the SEVERE PUNISHMENT God promised to bring upon them and their offspring!

Joshua 10:40, for example, sums up the Hebrew conquest of Canaan as follows: "So Joshua defeated the whole land ... He left none remaining, But utterly destroyed all that breathed, As the Lord God of Israel commanded."

In 1 Samuel 15:3 we find the Hebrew prophet Samuel relaying God's order to exterminate the Amalekites, because their ancestors had opposed the Israelites centuries before: "Now go and smite Amalek, And utterly destroy all that they have; Do not spare them, But kill both man and woman, Infant and suckling, Ox and sheep, Camel and ass."

Instead of saying the Holocausts being "atrocities" we should thank God for them on our knees! Instead of calling Hitler a villain, we should accord him the same honor as a servant of God that we accord to Joshua and Samuel

May God forgive us for ever considering His divine Holocaust an "atrocity"

I would like to add that the Holy Bible makes it perfectly clear that Holocausts are the Heavenly Father's favorite way of dispensing with unrepentant sinners and their despicable children, the righteous Hebrew ancestors of today's Jews were the Nazis of Biblical times -- the Lord's willing instruments of genocide against various sinful peoples of the past.
