~ The gift of Tongues ~

Today is Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005.

I am going to show in this message the truth of the Gift of Tongues. So many have missed this and almost everyone has taught this in error. Those who do not deny this wonderful gift altogether, do not understand it, even those who have it.

So this is a much-needed truth. If only people would learn to go exactly by how the Scripture is written, instead of listening to false teachers, all this delusion would not exist. Even many who exercise this gift and are blessed by it, still do not understand it and are confused when they are exercising the gift. This ought not so to be my beloved Christian friends.

Now, let’s look into the Word of God and see what is truly taught on this great gift.

1Cor 14:1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

1Cor 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

First see that Paul said for us to desire spiritual gifts. So it is a thing we should do, is pray for and seek to have the gifts of the Spirit in our own lives. This is not just to help others with; it is also for the purpose of edifying ones own self.

Notice verse two. This is the first of the ‘misunderstandings?of this gift. Most people assume that this gift of tongues is for the purpose of preaching the gospel to someone who speaks a different language than you do. But see this is not taught in the word of God. He said here that when you speak in an unknown tongue, this is not speaking unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him. See then that it is NOT an earthly language at all. It was not meant for anyone. The very fact that it said this is an UNKNOWN tongue tells us to begin with, that this tongue is not known by anyone on this earth. So it is NOT an earthly tongue. IT is a heavenly tongue, which no man understands. In the spirit he is speaking mysteries. Only God knows these mysteries.

Unbelievers and those unknowledgeable about this gift will tell us that only when one is speaking to someone of another earthly tongue should we use this gift. I just ask, where is even one Scripture saying this? Where was this gift ever used for this purpose? They all go to Acts 2, where Peter preached to that great crowd and use this to say that is what he was doing. But Peter was NOT speaking in an unknown tongue there. He was speaking in his own tongue. God fixed it so everyone there understood his speech in their own tongue. Surely you know that Peter was not speaking in more than one tongue?

Let me make it clear here at the beginning of this message, that I am not speaking of the tongues which comes when one is Baptized with the Holy Ghost. That is a total different working of God. It has not one thing to do with this gift of tongues. This gift of tongues comes only after one has the Holy Ghost, and it is not given to everyone. But the tongues which accompanies the Baptism of the Holy Ghost is given to everyone who receives the Holy Ghost. This is His means of proving he has come into your heart to live and abide. He gives this utterance, not the person. It is totally of God, not of man. The rules Paul laid down for the use of this gift of tongues in a church does not apply to the tongues which the Holy Ghost utters when one is filled with the Baptism. Compare this with Acts two and what happened in that upper room and you can clearly see this. All 120 people spoke in tongues. All 120 there spoke the same language. Not one word is said about any need for interpreting this tongue. See it was not the gift of tongues. It was the gift of the Holy Ghost being given. I have never heard even one Pentecostal preacher who understands this matter. Do they ever study the word? I really wonder.

1Cor 14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

1Cor 14:4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

Now see here that Paul is explaining the use for two gifts. He said prophesying is used to edify, exhort and comfort other people. He said that when one speaks in an unknown tongue he is edifying himself. Now is not that what I told you to begin with? The gift of tongues is given for your own edification. This is very needful for your own spiritual growth and joy. Use it as often as you can. Pray and worship and this gift will come. So did Paul say the gift of tongues is used for other men? Did he say it is for the purpose of teaching people of another language? NO. Did he say one word about the need to be ?U>fluent?in this speaking? No. Not one word. It has not one thing to do with your own personal ability. That does not enter into it.

So do not allow false, unknowledgeable men to hinder you by making you think it is something you need to be ‘fluent?in. It does not pertain to your earthly ability; it is a gift of the Spirit. He does it. Many times we are worshipping and praising Jesus and God with the same phrases of praise over and over. The unbelievers and ignorant use this to try and say it is false, for we are saying the same words over and over, therefore not speaking a message. It is not for speaking messages. It is for our own edification. It is our worship of God. I shall prove that in this message.

It is no different than when we say the same words over and over in our own tongue, praising him and loving Him. I do this quite often, in both English and in the unknown tongue. When I myself switch it back to English, it seems to lose the power and glory, so I then allow the Spirit to take back over.

1Cor 14:5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

Now the unknowledgeable use this verse to try and ‘down-grade?the gift of tongues. But is this what is meant? No. Paul is showing here that in order for the church [other men- not you] to receive edification, the tongues must be interpreted. See that he had already laid out that tongues is for your own edification and prophecy is used to edify others. So does not this fit it exactly? Of course it does. I have written many messages on the tongues, which accompanies the Holy Ghost, but I do not remember actually taking this gift of tongues and explaining it fully. This is certainly needed by the church.

But see that he made it clear that he wants everyone to speak in tongues. I would that ye ALL spake with tongues. Now does that sound like Paul was against speaking in tongues? Of course he was not. It is right the opposite. Where are any churches, which have this attitude? They are few and far between. See also that when the tongues is interpreted it becomes just as important a tool to edify others as does prophecy? This interpretation places them on the same level, but when you are speaking in tongues alone, there is no real need for interpretation.

1Cor 14:6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

Now here is another verse they use to try and say speaking in tongues is not right or of no importance. But see that is not what is meant. Again it goes back to who is being edified, and which gift is being used. See Paul said, brethren if I come to you speaking in tongues what shall I profit you? See he is saying the tongues is not used to edify others, it is for your own personal edification. So in order to edify someone else, you must either speak by revelation [something God has revealed to you], or by knowledge, or by prophesying or by doctrine. See that the gift of prophecy was given to edify others with. This makes it so clear that the gift of tongues was never given to preach to men of other languages with. Again, it is not putting the gift of tongues down. Rather it is clearly explaining what the two gifts are to be used for. When you come to see this clearly, it will never be a problem again. You can then use the gift of tongues for your own personal worship and edification, and then speak to others by knowledge or prophecy or some other way he can understand. He does not understand your tongues, unless it is interpreted. You are glorifying God in worship, and it is joy to you, but the other person receives no real benefit from this.

Now I personally enjoy seeing others in the Spirit and it blesses me. So do not feel put down by tongues being for your own benefit. It does bless other Christians who enjoy this. It may not edify me, but I enjoy seeing the Spirit moving on anyone. Paul is not saying a person who prophesies is a greater person than the one who speaks in tongues; nor is he saying that the gift of prophecy is better than tongues. It is speaking here of the magnitude of how many is blessed or edified. More people means greater, it is speaking of how many are edified.

In verses 7- 11, Paul explains that when one person speaks in a tongue to someone else, who does not understand that tongue, then you are barbarians to each other. No understanding or edification is there.

1Cor 14:12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church. 14:13 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.

Now did Paul condemn this church for being zealous of spiritual gifts? Of course he did not. So then why are most preachers today so much against this? But Paul said seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church. He wanted them to seek to use their gifts to edify the church, and not just themselves. So he said if you speak in an unknown tongue pray that you may interpret it. The interpretation then edifies others as well as your own self. So where does all of this leave the majority of church folks who do not believe in any of these gifts being for us today? Where is any Scripture saying that this was only for folks back then? Why would God tell us all about this kind of glory, and then say now it is not for you? My God did not do such a thing to me, I can grant you.

1Cor 14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

1cor 14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

1Co 14:16 Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

1Co 14:17 For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.

Now don’t you see that he said you can pray in an unknown tongue and not understand yourself what is being said? He said this is praying with the spirit. Then he said I will sing with the spirit [in tongues], and I will sing with the understanding also. So here he is saying I sing in tongues, then interpret it and sing it in my own language. My, what glory! And just think almost all churches today deny this to their people! Thank God for setting me free from them.

Verse 17 says that one is giving thanks well, in tongues, but the other is not edified. See again proving that the tongues is not for the edification of others, unless it is interpreted. But see that he called it well. Why are so many against this today? And they call it evil and not well?

1Cor 14:18 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:

1Cor 14:19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

Now I know that many preachers and church folks use verse 19 to try to downgrade this gift of tongues. Again it is not what is meant here. Why would Paul say I thank my God that I speak with tongues more than all of you, if he thinks it is not good? No this is not what he means. He is only saying that when I am in church with others, I would rather teach them then, than to edify myself with tongues that they will not understand or get any edification from. He is not condemning speaking in tongues at all. He is merely saying in the places where you are with others, try to teach them.

See Paul made it clear that he spoke in tongues lots of times, more than any of them. He is certainly not putting this gift down in any kind of way. But he makes it clear that he would rather teach others when with them than to edify himself.

Dear Jodi,

God bless you, dear one. You will never know how much your sweet words mean to me. I just sat and cried tears of Joy and blessing as I read this. I felt the sweet Holy Ghost on me and began praising my Jesus.

It is so seldom anyone has anything except hatred and criticism for me. when someone says the things you did, I always think My God has sent a blessing my way to lift me up. For truly that is what it is to me.

And I am so happy to find one other person who has the same Spirit God has given to me. I see the same truthful and worshipful spirit in you that I understand. And I am so glad the message has helped you. I went through the same thing for a while, about the 'repetition' thing. but God had mercy and showed me why this is. Now I see it every day in my life, as I praise Jesus over and over, either in English or His unknown tongue.

Now you said this:

No this is what I see...Many Christians run around with sunday faces..Listen to their Pastor act like they have no mind of their own and No relationship with father except through their pastors on sunday....But the truth is although they look sweet and nice on the outside they back bite each other with gossip...And they are the first ones to pass judgement on each other...

That is so very true for most 'churched' folks. I know Holiness people personally who just will not fellowship anyone outside their own little 'clique' at their little 'church'. You try to tell them something of truth, they will say, "that is not how my preacher teaches it", and that is the end of it! No concern at all for what the word teaches.

Then there are those who feel they absolutely MUST go to church. ...but they complain all the time of 'no love' gossiping' backbiting' lack of fellowship. etc.

I ask them, then why go? It is not of God.

Keep on the right track........we will meet in His Holy Kingdom.

Love to you,

JO

Re 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
Re 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

There is the answer, Jodi. They do not repent of their sins, regardless of what comes their way. But the People of God will repent and seek Him at all times.

Now about the churches, Yes! God has set to destroy them all. I do not know when or how.......but I do know that God hates these things and he is going to destroy them all in His own way and His own time.........but we are still to have compassion on these hurting and lost souls.

I read stuff everyday about the horror those people have suffered and it grieves my soul for them. How could anyone feel otherwise? I am just thankful for every day that God lets me live in peace and health and glorying in His Holy word.

God bless you and keep you, sweet child of God.

Joie

Purpose Of Unknown Tongues

1Cor. 14: 2. For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

I think one of the reasons people are missing the real truth here is they, (we) take too many verses and thoughts at one time and try to understand it. I really see that we need to take it one verse and thought at a time.

When I looked down at this one verse as I was coming on line, I saw what we are all missing.

Go back and really read the above verse. Look at it and think about it.

He that speaketh in an (WHAT)? UNKNOWN TONGUE.

Now stop here and concentrate --- this is what God brought to me. ~~ An UNKNOWN TONGUE.

People, this is NOT speaking of ANY earthly, known language. It is not an earthly known language. So, this could NOT have been what Peter was doing on that day when he preached to all those different people who heard him in their own tongue. Those tongues were known, earthly languages.

This is speaking of an UNKNOWN TONGUE. Get it.

Now, more proof: ..........speaketh NOT unto MEN.

Now, look at this. I had this in the tongues message; but by reading it all at once everyone overlooks this which is so PLAINLY stated.

This person speaking in an unknown tongue is NOT speaking unto MEN.

So, if this is not speaking unto MEN, it is not an eartly language. It could not possibly have been what Peter was doing that day; for Peter was speaking unto THOUSANDS OF MEN.

So, He was NOT speaking in an unknown tongue at that time.

So, it is NOT what Paul is speaking of in 1Cor. 14.

Now, more proof: .......but unto GOD.

See, this says very clearly that a person speaking in an unknown tongue is speaking unto GOD ---- not men.

So, Peter was not speaking in un unknown tongue to that crowd of people. I personally believe he was speaking in his own tongue. He could not have been speaking in hundreds of tongues at the same time. It says they all HEARD in their own tongue. Now, I can not prove this --- but it seems to me that the miracle here was performed on the HEARERS; NOT THE SPEAKER.

Now back to the verse: for NO MAN understandeth him.

Now go back to the thing with Peter and the crowd, which has so many people mixed up about what happened in the upper room, where only 120 people of the same language were.

It said there, that ALL of that great multitude UNDERSTOOD PETER IN THEIR OWN TONGUE WHEREIN THEY WERE BORN.

Yet, here Paul said when speaking in an unknown tongue--- NO MAN UNDERSTANDS HIM.

Are you with me so far? Hope so. This is great.

(Look what a long message is coming out of just one verse - I think this is the way to teach so people can understand). (And I am not wasting words).

Now back to the verse:.....howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

Now put this all together ~~~ this person is speaking to God in an unknown tongue --no man understanding him, ---- he is speaking mysteries to God.

It is only for himself - as Paul said - to his own edification.

Lord, Let me do it more.

The Word did not say the unknown tongue is not for the believer. Of course not. This is the only one it could be for - as far as having it.

It said it is for a SIGN to the unbeliever. A sign, that God is really speaking inside this person who is doing the speaking. That believer does not need a sign; he received it by faith.

But that unbeliever needs that sign so he can finally come to see that God does take up His abode inside a person and SPEAK through this believer.

What a pity that this most precious gift from God has been so mocked and misunderstood, to the hurt of this entire generation of church-goers.

But I say if they were HUNGRY for God, they would find the right way even as I did.

I was raised to believe this was of Satan. But something inside me rejected that lie and sought for God's truth and power. Now He is rewarding me and feeding me glory from His throne.

This message is the Scripural TRUTH on the gift of tongues. Do any of you want God's truth, or just to stay with man's false doctrine....cheating you of God's glory?

A few days ago, I felt a great desire to read this message again, but could not find a copy of it. I print them all out.

So I had already sent it back up, when I sat here, just now, and read it.

I see now why God moved on me to send this back to the top.

It is exactly what needs to be understood for anyone, such as Dovey, to understand how that old law covenant is the covenant with death and hell.

It is also how we understand that the law and prophets, (they go together).. are this death and hell riding that fourth horse....as Moses (law) is that fourth kingdom in Daniel.

Moses was that fourth head over mankind. It ended that OT part, the four kingdoms.
The NT church, the false church, is that seven-headed beast, an image of the OT kingdoms. In the NT all seven heads are listed as one beast... a beast with seven heads = those seven churches in Rev.

So, those ten horns on this beast is those ten commandments, which is the law and prophets, or the POWER of that OT kingdom, under Moses. These 'horns' have not been crowned with the power to kill, yet. But with so many unsuspecting souls putting up signs in their yards, calling for Ten Commandments, it will soon rule in power again. and woe be to everyone then!

All who cling to law, in this age of Grace, are those who made the covenant with death and hell.

They are the ones who went and fell backwards and were taken, snared and destroyed.

They can never see the true sign = speaking in tongues = having entered into the true REST OF GOD.

so , this message is greatly tied to the teaching on Law.

Hope you all study this and come into the light of Grace.

Jo

Isaiah 28: 7- But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

8For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

14Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.

15Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

Re 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

Re 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

Re 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

Re 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Now here we see that this whorish woman is sitting upon a scarlet coloured beast. So? This proves then that the world-wide waters is also this scarlet coloured beast. If this woman is sitting upon many waters, then it says she sits on a scarlet beast, then it stand to reason that the waters is also the beast.

So why would this beast, or the people of this earth, be said to be scarlet [red] coloured? First find what the color red shows in the Word of God.

Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Re 18:16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

Now read that verse carefully. Read it again. It said there was a CITY, which was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

How can a ?I>city?be clothed? She [this city] has on fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

Now realize that whoever or whatever this CITY is, she is this MOTHER OF HARLOTS. SHE IS THIS WHORE AGAINST GOD. Remember also that this city is many nations, peoples, kindreds and tongues. This city is world-wide. This city is guilty of all the righteous blood ever shed on this earth!

Re 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Ex 25:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 25:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. 25:3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass, 25:4 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, 25:5 And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood, 25:6 Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense, 25:7 Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate. 25:8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. 25:9 According to all that I show thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.

God told Moses to make a tabernacle according to a pattern which God gave to him. All of this is types and shadows of the true thing of God. Keep this in mind. See that the offering the people brought to make these things with are gold, silver, brass, blue, purple, and scarlet fine linen and goats hair. The goats represent the ones whom Jesus casts away from him at the judgment.

If you will read this entire chapter you will see that they made a pattern of the mercy seat, the two witnesses, and the seven churches. They were all under this cunning work of the tabernacle.

Ex 26:1 Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.

Ex 26:29 And thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and thou shalt overlay the bars with gold. Ex 26:30 And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was showed thee in the mount. Ex 26:31 And thou shalt make a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made:

Watch this word ‘cunning?all through these chapters. It is the same as the one in Daniel who caused ‘craft?to prosper in his hand.

Ex 26:36 And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework. Ex 26:37 And thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold: and thou shalt cast five sockets of brass for them.

Ex 27:16 And for the gate of the court shall be an hanging of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework: and their pillars shall be four, and their sockets four.

[You will need to read all of these chapters to really get the full impact and truth of this.]

Ex 35:25 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen. 35:26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair. 35:27 And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

Ex 35:35 Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.

Ex 36:8 And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.

Ex 36:35 And he made a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubims made he it of cunning work. Ex 36:36 And he made thereunto four pillars of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver. Ex 36:37 And he made an hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, of needlework;

Ex 38:18 And the hanging for the gate of the court was needlework, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court.

Ex 38:23 And with him was Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, and a cunning workman, and an embroiderer in blue, and in purple, and in scarlet, and fine linen.

Ex 39:1 And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses. Ex 39:2 And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen. Ex 39:5 And the curious girdle of his ephod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses. Ex 39:6 And they wrought onyx stones enclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.

Ex 39:24 And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen. Ex 39:25 And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

Ex 39:29 And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Now if this is not enough to prove to the hardest person that this Old Testament Covenant of LAW is this Harlot City of Revelation 17 and 18, I say you are too blind to ever see any truth or ‘hear?the true voice of the true Shepherd, Jesus. The Word of God has here very clearly revealed to us who this City is which was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls.

Re 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

God abolished that law, Jesus nailed it to his cross, taking it out of the way, YET IT STILL RULES IN THE HEARTS OF MOST PEOPLE Today. It WAS, in Moses?day, is not, (during the grace age)?and yet is…?because they (false church) healed that old head and brought that law right back up, out of the bottomless pit - whore church.

Re 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

Mt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

What made them desolate? What was the abomination? That old law, which works wrath and death. God is a merciful God. He hated them driving him to set up this law, by which he had them killed for their disobedience. It made that old nation of Israel desolate. Yet the stupid church has set that old law right back up and is bringing people right back into that bondage and desolation. When you see it sitting in that church, where is the seat of Satan, then know that your desolation is nigh. When you see that LAW again, crowned with power, then your desolation is come.

Mt 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: Mt 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Why pray that your flight be not on the Sabbath day? Because they crowned that law again and will kill any who break that Sabbath day by traveling. It brought about all the tribulation on this earth. It is the enemy of your soul. Jesus took that enmity, (law) out of the way, but this foolish church brought it right back up again.

See, the early Apostles had to battle this same thing. They called it subverting their souls, to tell them had to go back to keeping the law of Moses. They called it bondage which none of them could bear. So why would a stupid church take it back up after Jesus set them free from that bondage? (Acts 15).

Mt 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:

Mt 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Mt 23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

Moses?seat is that ten commandment law. It binds heavy burdens and grievous to be borne and lay them on men’s shoulders. They themselves do not obey it. But to be under that law is the bondage. It is the seat of Moses.

Mt 23:32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Mt 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Mt 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: Mt 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Only a blind person could not see what the above is saying. Those Pharisees and priests, who held folks under that Moses?law, were serpents, and vipers. They were headed to hell. They are the very ones who persecuted the New Church, who held to Grace.

But notice Verse 35. Here is where Jesus clearly identified this law bunch, Jerusalem, Old Jerusalem, the bond children, as being the mystery Babylon…the one who is guilty of all the righteous blood shed upon the earth. Same words spoken to Babylon in Rev. 17.

How long, oh you people, will you reject this clearly taught TRUTH?

Love,

Jo
