Well, today is almost gone, but it will soon be tomorrow.  So me thought it is about time to do another welcome to this wonderful site where all who come in are FED the wonderful Word of God

The Word teaches us to plow or break up your 'fallow' ground and sow to yourselves in righteousness.

So here we are plowing in hope and sowing that life-giving seed into your field.  If you fail to tend to you garden and do not eat of the good of the land, it will be all your own fault.

So dig in and EAT HEARTLY.

Let's sow;  let's weed out stuff; let's all reap a bountiful harvest.

Have eternal life, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jo, one of your managers.

1 John 1

 1.  That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
 2.  (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
 3.  That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

What is he speaking of here?  That which was 'from the beginning'.  This term, from the beginning, has thrown the whole church world into false understanding.  They go back in their minds to the beginning of a creation.  But that is not what is meant.

Learn to 'READ' what is really said and not just jump over it.

He said (v2) the life was manifested- so he is speaking of something called life which was manifested to them.   He said, "we SAW this".  He said we are bearing witness of it.  Jesus told them you shall be witness of me.  Did he mean the mortal man whom Mary gave birth to?  No, he did not mean this.

For it says, ...and shew unto you that ETERNAL LIFE, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us.

Now see he is speaking of  ETERNAL LIFE.  A life which was with the Father and then manifested unto us.

So that could only be speaking of one thing ~~~  THE RESURRECTED SON OF GOD, JESUS CHRIST.  To him was given glory, power, and eternal life to see death and corruption no more.

See his first life was mortal, corruptible life; not ETERNAL LIFE.  Else he could never have died.

Do you all realize that if someone can and did die, they had to have been mortal?  See, immortality or eternal life CANNOT DIE;  FOR IF IT DID, THEN IT WAS NOT ETERNAL, IMMORTAL LIFE!

Why are people having such a hard time understanding this simple principle of life?

This is also the BEGINNING spoken of in John 1:14.

Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.  Let's go fishing!

1 John 3

 1.  Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

 2.  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

 3.  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

 11.  For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Jesus is the  BEGINNING.  The BEGINNING of the creation of God, when God created man in his own likeness and image.

So Jesus, the Beginning, told us to love one another.  This is his GRACE.

It does not yet appear what we shall be like when He appears.  So we will be changed into that same glorious image.

I will be satisfied when I awake in thy likeness.

1 John 5

 1.  Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

......believe that Jesus  IS  the  Christ?  Now I ask someone to explain this to us.

What does it mean~~~~ believe that Jesus   IS  the CHRIST?

What is Christ?  It is not saying believe Jesus Christ,  it is saying believe that he is something else.... = Christ.

THE  CHRIST.

See?  People are just not getting into the depth and truth of this Word.

Well  I tried to get another pretty background, but the computer is moving so slowly today I could not get it to come in.  I will not be able to do much right now, for it is taking too long to move and do a thing. Do wish they could get this thing to working right again if it is them.   If it is my computer I wish I could get it fixed.

Anyway I wanted to ask you a question.  Just for fun and to change the subject a little.

The question:

Can you name the four days of the week which start with the letter 'T'?

The answer will surprise you if you do not know and it is just as cute as can be.  Will wait to answer and see if any of you read this and respond.

Hope you are all having a great and safe time.  I myself do not celebrate any holidays so to me every day is just the same.

JO  (can't do any pictures right now; for it is hanging up and taking too long.)

Jude 20.  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
 21.  Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Now read that.  He is telling us to build up ourselves in holy faith and the way to do this is praying in the Holy Ghost.  So if you do not have the Holy Ghost how are you going to pray in the Holy Ghost?

He said keep yourselves in the love of God,   then what.......? Looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ  UNTO  eternal life.

Now does this sound like what we were taught in 'church'?  Nope, sure does not.  They all teach that we ALREADY HAVE BEEN GIVEN ETERNAL LIFE.

So what did this do?  It led people to believe they already have eternal life and can therefore never be lost no matter what they do or do not do in this life.  I tell you, this is one of the worst and most dangerous lies in this whole world.  It causes people to live half-hearted lives and never pray; never read the Word, never witness or try to teach others; and to just do as they please in the flesh.  All this time believing they are 'saved' and on their way to Heaven.

But see this said looking for His mercy UNTO ETERNAL LIFE.  Now that is saying it is something yet to be.

If you already had eternal life, then you could not die.  The fact that all still die proves we are all still in a mortal body headed to death.  Therefore it COULD NOT BE ETERNAL LIFE.

Jesus did not even have eternal life until His resurrection.  And none of us are going to have eternal life until our resurrection either.  We are only in temperal, mortal life now.  Sure it says we are passed from death unto life;  but that only means he gave us spirit life from the Holy Ghost as that we are now no longer dead in tresspasses and sin.

But here is the danger.  If you go back to living a sinful life, then you are again dead in trespasses and sin.

You are still headed to hell.  Better wake up and see the real truth and not what the 'church' teaches.  They are all teaching lies.

What did the Protestant Reformation bring forth?  Anyone have a clue?  I just wonder what you all think of this.  I know lots of people believe this was one of the open doors mentioned in the Book of Revelation.

But I want someone to show me how that was an open door?  I will give you Scripture for what it brought forth.

Rev. 17: 3.  So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
 4.  And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
 5.  And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
 6.  And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

There now that is what the reformation brought forth = the harlot daughters of mama whore, the Catholic church.

Yes, this is exactly all that brought forth, more little whores against God and his real truth.

How do I know?  Just look at the description of mama and daughters.  It is the same.

I saw the woman arrayed in purple and scarlet colour and DECKED WITH GOLD AND PRECIOUS STONES AND PEARLS WITH A CUP FULL OF ABOMINATIONS AND FILTHINESS.

Now see that all the protestant churches fit this same description?  Rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing.  Fancy, lavish buildings. Big bank accounts. abominations?  Yes, full of them.  Just look around you at all the idols they worship --- Santa, Satan, easter bunnies, egg hunts. sunrise services, high, expensive steeples on their idol temples, proud, haughty, etc. and by the way, look at all their abominable names: --- (just will name a few to show you  what I mean).--- Possum creak (mostly baptist churches go by these kinds of names.  but the rest are not much better)-

Blacks creek, ceader sholes, walnut grove, sanford grove, clouds creek, etc.  If this is not abominable names I don't know what else it could be.  Believe me I have seen all of these and much worse. (grove worship is always associated with idols). Lots of them have grove in their names.  It identifies them.

God is nowhere to be found.

I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and martyrs of Jesus.  Now I grant you if you check the history of all the protestant churches back a ways, you will find that they ALL killed others who did not go along with them, just as their mama Catholic had done.  And if you check the history you will find that all those early reformers never did truly in their hearts break away from believing those popes and that catholic mess.  They only went a step down the street.  But they camped on mama's doorsteps.  They continued all the idolatous holidays which are nothing but devil worship.

They continued to let one man rule over the whole church and PAID him to do so. (just try to get one away from that system and see the war you will stir up!).

If God leads you one step, and you obey YOU CAN REST ASSURED HE WILL THEN SHOW YOU ANOTHER STEP TO TAKE.  I GUARANTEE YOU THIS.

Walk in the light as he gives you light.  Walking is not standing still.  He never said stand still in the light.  He meant for us to KEEP WALKING as he leads the way with his light shinging on your pathway.

He never leads you into darkness.  But look at the Lutheran, the Methedist, the Baptist and all the rest.  What did they do?  They took one step and then QUIT.  Sat down.  denominated on one verse and one doctrine.

I grant you God tried to show every single one of them  ANOTHER STEP TO TAKE.  I grant you He did.  But they refused to go one more step.  Yes, they camped on mama whore's doorstep and refused to get out into the deep waters of the Word.

So they all died as surely as mama is dead.  So all the reformation brought forth is more dead harlots.

Amen!  Like it or not this is pure truth.  And that is why they are all DEAD, WRETCHED, POOR, BLIND, NAKED, IN NEED OF NOTHING --YET DEAD TODAY AS THE LAODICIAN CHURCH.

Jo, not afraid to tell the truth.

Funny, I sit here, on July 4, 2005, and re-read all those posts I did here on July 4, 2003.
No one read these things then, and they still do not.  But know what?  I will continue to keep this board alive all by myself, if necessary.

The truth presented in this BUILD ON THE TRUE FOUNDATION, will stand in Heaven as a WITNESS that truth was available if anyone wanted to COME AND DINE AT THE MASTER'S TABLE.

We have set the true FOOD on this TABLE.
I have some great messages in this thread which I also need to move to the Church thread.  Hope to get that done soon.

But for now, me needs to hit the 'sack' and get some shut-eye.
So, goodnights to meself.  and Larry, if you gets in here.  [no one else will]
Jo
